BHO Shatter and Wax 3 Runs.

Hey everyone Im new and decided to come to this forum because without this forum my BHO Runs wouldnt went any better. I did two runs first with Platinum OG and GDP trim and then a 3rd run with Critical 47 and GSC. Went to Club to medicate my co workers and they were blown away literally. I did not test the 3rd run because still at Vac Purge process. My Equip is a normal pyrex tubes and trays. 100 gr and 28 gr tubes. I used Power 5x and yes i know not that greatbut my stuff came out great in taste and smoke. Will be using Newport or Vector next. I have a Robinair 2 stage pump which is great pulls over -29.5. My method was outdoor not inside. I will say I am on right track. In past ive made bubble hash with Wacky Bags but this BHO is great. Heres some pictures of all 3 runs and two amber/goldish ones are trim and clear gold is straight Nug rum.

Actually I'm pretty sure Power came back as one of the better butanes as far as having that oil/lubricant stuff in it.

My last batch I made from Power and I couldn't tell a difference.

Well i will break down my method thats a collaboration of others. . First ill take trim (go through and take out bad leaves) or nugs (kind of break them down with no stem) and tightly pack my tubes to the rim and i put 2 coffee filters on end of each tube. Then put hose clamp. Then i will blast outside into pyrex dish. Them ill take dish and place on my skillet untill most butane evaporates. I do initial purge using about 110 to 120°f. Onces thats done ill scrape it all and put on PP. Then i will heat at about 110 on Pp on skillet to try get Hash to clump together. Once so i put in Vac Pump and do a full vac pump clost to -30. I wait about 30min and take out and then clump it in together better either in circle or square. Then after that put in Vac pump and chamber for 4+ hours until no reaction. I sometimes stop pump every hour or so to release and vac. After butane is all out i do a flame test and if sparkles i will continue but if not i will purge for another 30 and let it sit out on PP. I let it cool and bam its done. I did use about 1 can for every ounce or little bit more but yea. Im not expert but i got the way i like it down. I will be doing all nug runs soon. So first two runs were nice but nug run of GSC mixed with Critical 47 is bomb smells sweet and skunk at same time.

Hey thanks for reply. Yea i went to my club and they didnt notice any butane taste and they were surprised that i used power 5 but i told them slow and low heat purge is way to go.

I have used Power 5, Lucienne, and Vector and noticed little difference between them (aside from that vector SEEMS to make a more orange extract than the Lucienne and Power). Those are nice little slabs, and aside from that one that has little bits of what look like plant matter, they look great!

Also, do you heat your vac chamber or just the erl before you put it in? I have found heating the chamber speeds up the purge and gets me more consistent results.

Hey thanks. Yea i had little plant matter i think my dumbazz didnt switch gloves after packing and so some flakes got int there. Well i did both. I would heat in beginning before i Vac purge. Then out it in the chamber. I kept my chamber at 100 to 110 whole time. Yes heating chamber just enough to see reaction helps alot. You can purge with no heat in th chamber but everytime it will come out like glass so i didnt like it. So i used heat the whole way.

Well i am doing my 4th Nug run. Its about 3 to 4 ounce of only critical 47. Also i just picked up Power 7x super refined so we will see.

Power 7 and Power 5 gave me the same results. Methinks it's marketing both work good though!
