Hello ,

I have appartment for grow ,

its complicated for me to extract to the window with the neightbord window....

i have himney duct , but its not deep

i have 2 grow tent , 2X600 per tent or 4X600 per 2 tent

you think its good for extract ,

i wish is that hermetic and the air can evacuate well

you phink negativ pression its sufficient for extraction

i have extractor 2500m3/h or 1470 CFM per manage 2 grow tent


one other question


in another room I have 2X600 and I spit out of the window obligatorily

do you have a technique to have less air noise output,

I spit behind a shutter

What it the diamentions of the Chimney channel?

It should work fine for exhaust, bord it up and mount a large extract fan.
My guess is it would be large enough, to vent 4x 600W HPS lights thru any open fire chimney.

That should give you plenty of ventilation.

Had it been a regular square duct, 10x16 inch duckt can cool 900-1100 sq ft of living area, for let's say normal aircondition and ventilation.
It's a little smaller, and it's not smooth inside. So there will be a bit more friction, but still lot's of room for lot's of air!

And u can tilt a window for passive intake or something!

if this is an apartment, you have to watch out for shred chimneys, you don't want the smell to go to someone else's apartment.

to reduce noise and smell you need to over scale the ventilation and run it slowed down with a good quality controller with the biggest ducts you can fit in. also creating a box over the window gives the air more space and makes it less noisy when it hits the shutters.

my fan bro for 2 box , 2X600 per box

but in the chimney
I can not pass the conduit into the hole

on my fan I have two input in 10 inch for suck air and for to spit 12 pouce ,

NO fan in bathroom bro

for smell no problem bro my chimney its only for me

if I make a frame on the chimney with a flange, do you think that the air will sew up?

this picture is not good frame its little its 8 inch , and my future 12 inch

you think its good ?

I measure my shimley duct measures 16x9

and my push air fan 12 of circumference its possible? What is the best solution?

I made the system, I put a plastic plate but the air is strong and out on the side!

How can I do something hermetic?

Because the flow of air is powerful and it comes back and spring by the side

many growers use the chimney to extract, as long as the chimney is not blocked it will work. make a small fire, if the smoke goes up properly, it will work. you will need to seal around the board you block the chimney with, cut a hole for the duct add a wall flange and done.

Silicone should fix that to the chimney, sealing and holding it in place with no problem.

roflmao, plastic plate?! my friend, you need a piece of wood, a nice board, you have to screw it in place and seal the cracks around it with silicon. but at east it needs to be screwed in place.
