I remember real floppy disks...

I was in love with a Commodore64.

Real modems had a rest for the handset of the phone.

I don't recall internet until 90.

I thought the whole idea of WWW was that you didn't need the whole network up to still have data. Wasn't it developed to allow communication in case of nuclear war?

Internet dropping off? So wot? We can always send postcards to this site. Advantages would be that, having to pay for the stamp, we'd think first what we write. Disavantages? Just one picture per post.

The worst part of that would be that Blockbuster went out of business. I get all my television from the internet these days. But I got plenty of DVDs, porn would be a problem who pays for it?

I am amazed at the number of people who feel they could do without the internet. Albeit, most are probably older but still...

Now, the big question would be how would you do if suddenly the news stopped. All news. No info from Washington. No info from other countries. The only news you got was what you saw with your own eyes in your own community.

NO news reporting of any kind. No TV. No Radio. No newspapers.
