Sounds tasty! What's the "T" bit of the White Rhino Afghan T? And what's MLI?
All the Critical Mass crosses seem to be good.
I have some old MLI and White Rhino Afghan T, and a Sugar Black Rose.

The Sugar Black Rose is female. Perhaps I can pop some MLI and White Rhino Afghan T,
select some males and make crosses.

The Sugar Black Rose is Critical Mass x Black Domina, I believe a cross with
MLI and then White Rhino Afghan T would make two worthy lines.

(Critical Mass x Black Domina) x MLI

(Critical Mass x Black Domina) x White Rhino Afghan T.

Let me know thoughts about this.

Maple Leaf Indica.

White Rhino Afghan T:

The original version from MNS was made using the (Jim Ortega sourced) Afghan T female.
Nevil said during his short lived return to that site that Shanti had lost his
Afghan T female (described by Nevil as the archetypical indica skunk plant.
Highly potent, heavy skunky funk)

I had two females and one male flowered and so far all plants
downstream the cross have been quite funky, no sweet of the Afghan S.

Seeds gifted to me by a fellow grower who is a relative to this chick I know.

I hold seeds of the White Rhino Afghan T x White Rhino Afghan T.

Old stock, no doubt, I have good luck popping old seeds.

I had no idea what I had, very good smoke, some deep purple stinky phenos.

The seeds I hold are previous to the the Afghan S female.

Nice! Looking forward to seeing what comes out of those crosses.

Yup

You and me both, White Rhino Afghan T seeds soaking as we speak, time to make a cross.

Timing is a thing, I have several plants in veg, cuttings taken, and will flip seed plants.

Holding all donor seed plants in veg to verify sex, keeping males and females.

That may prove tricky to clear some space in small veg box, but will find a way.

Some plants in flower will chop next week, plenty of space for new plants to flower then.

I may flip some donors before their cuts root, risky, but no guts, no glory.

The SBR v White Rhino Afghan T cross will be a thing, come hell or high water.

Yup. Sometimes you have to take a chance. I have more wiggle room in my setup than you, but am also still banging my head against space restrictions - I've done a bunch of grafts recently to get the plant-count down, and need to cull some plants.. might have to risk losing some because the grafts are taking longer than usual to take, I think because of hollow stem traits in both Johaar and Highland Thai. Good luck dude!

Hollow stems can be a contentious subject, many say its not genetic.

Having grown many plants of the same line, I can say its not nutes.

Good luck on your grafts, a method untried in my camp, yet.

Some topped seed plants, plants grown from seed,
in veg will flip soon to test and also make room in the veg box.

Cuttings taken of said plants, one Cacao Kush, two thunk x SoLi and a F20302 x P1.

The two thunk x SoLi plants are dark green, not seen before, one has long petioles.

Four more of the F20302 x P1 in veg on deck, as well as another Cacao Kush.

Three SBR cuts in veg as well, will keep one as mum and flip the other two.

Likely will discard males of the F20302 x P1, as the SBR x WR cross will
take over veg box.

Any females of F20302 x P1 will test for keepers, looking for that cherry.

Planning on taking more cuts of the SBR to flower along with any WR males to come.

Males of WR in flower will likely pollinate everything in flower at that time.

Win, win.

Lots to unpack, so stay with me, we'll get through it together.

Two SBR plants chopped, sixty one days in flower.

Trimmed the larger buds for stash, all the larf will also cure for hashish.

The last OS chopped, no nanners.
The most recent OS yield a few weeks ago had nanners, weird.

One Cacao Kush, two thunk x SoLi and a F20302 x P1 flipped.

Two SBR Cuttings flipped.

Three WR above ground, stoked for the cross with SBR.

Pics to post, stay tuned.

Flower box. Will get full upon the addition of WR and various cuts.

Can hold sixteen plants in 16oz cups, maybe nine at this posting.

All upcoming plants will flip as single stalk, SOG style, no more topped plants, lol.

Total six WR sprouts. They'll grow a couple weeks before up pot to 16oz cups.

Feeding EC 0.6 now and will bump to EC 1.2 upon up pot.

Lost one Cacao Kush cut and a thunk x SoLi cut, no go.

Plants in flower slow to bush, likely should have vegged longer, we'll see.

One more Cacao Kush in veg, will take cuts after a couple more weeks in veg.

Maybe will pop more thunk x SoLi seeds and let veg a few weeks before taking cuts.

Culled two cuts of F20302 x P1, classic mag deficiency.

Reason being no time for needy plants. If they show any problems, they gone.

My take on this is my rig has a standard that only flowers plants that flourish in the set up.

Not interested in changing nutes or lighting, to satisfy needy plants.

Cacao Kush presenting leaves with little to no serration, what's up with that.

WR seedlings doing well.

Recent plants flipped are short with many nodes, will be bushy plants ,lol.

Note to myself to power up the seedling mat.

Spazzed on the heated seedling mat, box ambient temps too low.

Lost a couple cuts due to low, cool temps.
