Working on tilling peeping potters

Potters are 14ft wide by 30 inches or so deep. I am not going to be using the soaker hose like last year do to lack of ability to control . I am also going to add some peralite or something to help with drianeg . it was vary inconsistent moister wise throughout potters .

My soil recipe if any one is interested . I also use this indoor as well

My soil recipe if any one is interested . I also use this indoor as well

2 yard native soil
1 yard horse manure alfalfa feed (aged 3+ years )
50 pounds worm castings ( roots organics)
15 pounds gypsum
7 pounds domalite lime ( pelletized)
1.5 cups high phosphorus bat guano (down to earth)
1 cup kelp meal (down to earth)
1 cup high nitrogen bat guano (down to earth)
1 cup fish meal (down to earth)
1 cup Xtreme Mykos Pure Mycorrhizal
1/2 cup Epsom salt

Spray soil while mixing with a 3 gallon solution of high brix molasses and and micro nutrient from earth juice . then test ph and adjust after a few months if possable .
This recipe was a bit hot last year . it only baked for a month or so . it should be great this year .

I also foiler spray plants depending on needs ie epsom, micro nutrient. I try to keep it simple . I use some earth juice grow and bloom through out the year but vary little (less then 1 gallon of each all year ). There may be better recipes out there this is what happens to work well for me and my area /situation .

I have not had it tested . I don't have a large budget like some other growers . maybe this can help, some one that is in a simaler situation/budget.:tiphat:

Check your masonry yards I buy it locally . It’s also called pool wire.
Comes 48”wide x 125’ long. I use it for building Gunite aka concrete raised pools. You can over lap this and tie together with soft wire . It works well. You can also look up concrete reinforcing products.i will try to upload a picture from my phone a pool wall I shot against with this

Tilling last 11 yard /2221.71gallon potter .

Tilling last 11 yard /2221.71gallon potter .

I am tilling soil around 2.5 ft down . interesting conclusion I am seeing heavy root growth from last year in the mainly horse manure spots within pots . maybe I should have done a 50% adged horse manure to 50% native soil mix plus amendments instead of 1/3 to 2/3 ratio that they are at now . I will do a sample mix at 50/50 and see how it performs and post results for thoes that are interested .

Any last potter :woohoo. Clear sailing now I hope :dance013:
