Hey, so this mystery illness has popped up on
one of my prized clones.

At first it looks like a calcium def,
kind of rust spots down the center vein..
but then blends into one brown patch which then
the leaf rolls up and dies?

Don#t know if i should try and get a clone of it?
or what.

only thing ive sprayed was some essential oils, very diluted.
Only other plant to be effected was the Chem OG which got
burnt up, much worse.
i can add pics of that too if anyone wants to see it?

here#s some pics to show whats up.
starts off like in pic 2,
then progresses through pic 1,3 and 4.

Dunno wot it is but developing along the central vein like that it must be trouble at the roots ...

So my idea of taking a clone off
Sit it in some clean water and see if it improves.
Might work?

Its got to be something with roots or soil?

Thanks for replies guys.

So I took the top off as a clone.
Seems ok. I've been watching very close,
As it did look very bad.
The rest of the plant has not got any worse.
An all I did was flush them out good.

That would be a phosphorus deficiency. A pretty good one too. Proper ph'd solution of bloom food should get that sorted. Maybe a diluted bloom nutrient foliar as well.

Most likely a Phosphorous deficiency or lockout.

The spots on the leaf could be mites. There also seem to be hints of mildew.

The carpet below the pots doesn't look good - I don't know that's where they're grown. It could be a source of infection for mildew.

I always remove the leaves that are showing advanced deficiency. That way the plant does not have to work to repair that leaf.

Nice Mack10, she should be cranking out the green again in no time.

I have run into this problem before. Keeping a plant in veg for long periods of time I would feed veg nutes. Now I have found that a 75% veg 25% bloom mix keeps them much happier. Occasionally the bottom leaves will lighten up some and I will just feed straight veg nutrient a couple times and go back to the blend.

Keep us posted mate!
