i disagree with one thing tho, that finland sweden and norway has similar growing conditions.
there is hardly a region on this planet with more local weather variation then these 3 contries.
finland and norway for example are two vastly different habitats. finland is to a large extent flat with large forests and many lakes. norway is extremely mountainous with atlantic northwestern winds hitting hard and A LOT of rain.
there is also a huge difference between the north and the south of scandinavia.
