I think one of the reasons music is beneficial for plants is, it helps them breathe.

The branches, leaves, and buds are the plant's lungs. Music helps move the air around.

I learned in College back in the 70"s that the vibrations from CLASSICAL stimulated the plants in a positive way and stimulated growth.
