Next up is a monocrop of my gb 8.
Got my headbanger seeds. Going to slow everything down and pop them here in the next week or so . Thinking Im going to start them in rockwool, idk really. Last time I popped seeds I was in coco

Any of you guys ever use rockwool for your seeds?
Feeling like I should have grabbed a few backs of these headbangers now. Only ever popped seeds in coco but dont want to bring that stuff into my shop.
Thinking like a 12 hr soak then into the rockwool cubes. Not real sure on approach yet

The girl needed transplanted long ago. Super rootbound. I imagine itll be a few days til they like me again.
Temps are 77 to 80 rh is at 70 co2 at 100
Got the lights turned down to 600 with the 10k bulbs still in.
Going to try and keep my total ppms lower this round and supplement the mag as I believe this is all they are short on when running at 1.3 ec

Got some rockwool soaking in azos and water. Going to soak my headbanger beans 24 hrs then into the rockwool. Very eager to see em come about

Couple weeks of 10k did these girls some good. Think Im going to throw the hps bulbs in this weekend and switch to 18/6.
Always slow to start flower. Hoping going from 18/6 to flip will speed em up some
This should be a great round with mono cropping the gb

Been doing a lot of reading.
I believe that while me manually topping off my system has cheated me and the girls out of some consistent automation. I can more directly stear the ec/ph.
Last run my ec raised a ton through flower. Also got a good bit of foxtailing, and fluffier flowers out of the gb.
I believe that my standard jacks calnit was too high in n towards the end. Also may be that 80f should be lowered?
My plan this round is to cut n gradually, maybe even add mkp.
Any of yall ever do so in a system such as mine? Would love some timelines to base my experiment off of.
2 weeks of water last round yeilded no senescence as Ive witnessed before during flush

Got all the weak branches pruned out.
Took and topped all my mains n pinched a bunch of stuff, cleaned out everything below the net. Timer will give em their 1st dark tomorrow. Hoping this 6 hrs dark will build up some hormones.

Looking like I wont be flipping them this weekend. They did not like their 1st day of 1k hps.
Down to 750, hoping they will perk back up soon. Should have swapped bulbs awhile ago

Well, 750 has those girls singing.
Got my res down to 1.3 ec with my jacks calnit measured out to 1/ .66rather than equal parts.
No deficiencies thus far. Fix on cal mag foliar if they start showing a need.
Going 12/12 tonight.
I feel like Ive got this room right, plants trained well. All boxes checked.
Hoping to finally pull off a great grow.

Hopefully some of yall are still following this boring ass room.
2 weeks in on my 1st monocrop as stated.
Im seeing a trend. The side at my door of the room out seems to be devoloping slower. Saw this last round but didnt think on it due to being a different strain there.
So I believed it to be co2 related as I only hade one fan under the canopy on that side. After swapping the fan I have notice almost a scale it would seem. From the door out the canopy tapers up.
I did prune the closest plant harder but the container next to it is slightly behind also.
I have 2 16 inch oscillating on the long wall and 2 12” on each far wall. I feel like I am mixing air very well. Temps and humidity are same within like 2 or 3 degrees. Lights are spaced evenly. Containers measure same throught system.
Wondering if I should be adding more fans or what? Suggestions Id love.
I ran an 18/6 schedule up to flip for over a week. Didnt speed up flower set as Id hoped, did slow stretch by a good bit. Had to lower my net 8 inches from last run. At this point my canopy in only about 14 inches deep. In another week Ill have a more definitive idea on it i guess.
I have set my dehumidifier up to drain into my res. With inputing 1.4 ec I am floating between 1.0 1.2 ec. Plant seem a perfect, lighter green as opposed to last run that was running almost 2.0 and super dark green. I am measuring my jacks/ calnit at 1/.66 now also.
I notice also my nodes are closer than last run and Im pruning fans every day to keep light on all nodes. Last run I didnt have to defol T all. Kind of odd. I am attributing this to the 18/ and better overall health going into flower. Also got the co2 at 1500

Sorry for the rant. This thread is a great resource for me to reflect, and I just got down on some dh x lbl bubble hash. I love that plant. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Temps are 79- 83 lights on 72 - 75 lights off rh 50 night 60 day. Cant get it any higher with automating my dehumidifier. Lights are on 1000 co2 is at 1500.

Got headbanger cuts in the flower room for sexxing. Really excited to start rolling through them. I think I got 5 males 5 fems per growth thus far, nothing is standing out beyond 5 growing much faster.

3 weeks tomorrow.
This lack of stretch is odd. I do have way tighter internodes than last round though.
Should be a good round if all stays smooth. Still rocking 1.0 ec in the res with 1.4 input.
Since starting to mix my nutes by weight rather than by equal valume I have had much healthier plants.
1500 ppms co2, low 80s temps and 50-60 rh. Wish I could get my lights on rh higher, maybe time to get a higher disk count atomizer

Sorry for the upside down pic and crappy quality. If any of yall could hit me with how the hell to enlarge them id be stoked.
2 days short of 4 weeks today. Alls done stretching. Got in there and did some majore defoliation yesterday.
Mixed 50 gallons of new input solution at 1/.5. Came out to 1.5 ec got to add more water.
Took my humidifier out. All stays 50 to 60 percent on its own now
Temps are right at 80 lights on. Thinking on dropping em soon
Co2 at 1500. Thinking on dropping it down soon also.
Res read 1.3 ec today. Will be watering down input to bring that down.

Not even a hint of any kind of lockouts or issues. Thats a big deal for me. I usually am chasing health pretty hard.
I did notice over the 4 hours of defol that i got very slight tip burn... overfed? At some point. Amazes me when I get the ratios right how little they really need, even with de lights and co2. I will be shooting for 1.0 or lower ec with my gb in flower from here on out. Ive had much better flower set, and the are building faster than I have seen in my garden this round
