Organic Speedy Veg

A customer came in ranting about a fertilizer called Speedy veg. It is derived from a sea sourced volcanic ash deposit with macro, micro and trace nutrients, humic and fulvic acid.

They make some pretty stiff claims:

  • Improved Root Systems
  • Accelerates Growth
  • Increased Crop Yields (30% to 40%)
  • 30% Reduction in Watering
  • Multiplication of Nutritional Value (up to 3X)
  • Increase in Resistance to Pests and Disease
  • Higher Brix Readings (Sap quality)
  • Increased Germination Rates
  • Strengthened Plant Vigor
  • Tastier Vegetables
  • More and Brighter Colors of Flower Blossoms
  • Combating Citrus Declines
Has anyone seen or used this product? Does it live up to the hype for $33 for 100 gallons?

I really like the claim at the bottom of the micronutrient list - "They may be present because of where we got the source material from, but we're not sure. So we're going to list it and hope people buy it anyways and think it's in there. I mean it should be in there, right?"

But for what it costs, it might be worth a shot for folks growing in soil or organic hydro. It is OMRI listed, so it can't be all bad.
