I was given the opportunity to run a few grows with the Majestic 12 LED and I'm going to record the progress of the grow every step of the way. I started from clone and planted them in 1 gallon airpots. The strain is Lemon Kush by the Humboldt Seed Company. Its my second time growing this strain, so I'm excited to see how it grows under my new Majestc12 LED.

This is day 6 of Veg from when I transplanted the Lemon Kush clones into soil. I had to disconnect half of the LED bars from the Majestic12 because it was too powerful for the clones. I keep the LED about 24-26 inches from the canopy, any lower causes the plants to droop. Im able to keep the temperature pretty stable and 78 being the low and 81 as the high.

So far I have 6 Lemon Kush clones, but will chose the top 4 that are closest in size when they are ready to be transplanted in 3 gallon airpots. Great things are coming ahead and I will keep everyone posted every step of the way!

Here is Week 2 of Veg for the Lemon Kush clones grown under the Majestic12 LED. I topped the Lemon Kush clones a few days ago and they are already starting to form new nodes. Not too much growth from last update, but they are slowly coming along. On my last run with Lemon Kush, I noticed that they like to grow tall instead of bushy, which in want to focus on during this grow.

I have the Majestic12 LED about 26 inches above the canopy and I still have half of the LED bars running. I tried lowering the light to 24 inches and the plants started to droop and they responded the same way with all 8 LED bars running. Also, the Majestic12 LED doesn't emit too much heat so I'm able to keep the temperature constantly around 77 Degrees Fahrenheit and about 55 Humidity.

This is at the start of week 3 of Veg and there is not much difference. The growth is slow, but I'm noticing some of the Lemon Kush clones are growing faster than the others. The first 2 pictures were taken on day 21 and there is not much change from my previous posts.




These last 2 pictures were taken on day 26 of veg. Now I'm starting to see growth and new leaves are forming. When I opened the tent, the Lemon Kush were reaching for the light! I keep the Majestic12 LED 26 inches above the canopy because any lower causes the clones to droop.

Looks to my untrained eye that your plants are developing their flowering spikes, I like the way this is going.

You planning to take them as far as 6 weeks before flipping?

Week 4 of veg and I'm starting to see vigorous growth. The Lemon Kush clones are reaching for the LED and are starting to fill out. Still have half of the LED bars connected and have the light 26 inches above the canopy.





This is Week 5 of Veg and I have selected the top 4 Lemon Kush clones that I will be using for this grow. The Majestic12 LED did great for the clones so I threw in a Purple Punch 2.0 seedling in there to help her grow. I will take it out once the Lemon Kush clones start to fill up the trellis I built for them.

I will probably veg for 8 full weeks as I want to fill this tent up as much as possible before I flip them into flower.

This is week 6 of Veg for the Lemon Kush grown under the Majestic12 LED. The Lemon Kush clones have reached the trellis that I built for them and are growing fast! As they grow I'm weaving them through the trellis to get an even canopy.

Here we have the beginning of week 7 of veg and the Lemon Kush are thriving under the LED. They have well passed the canopy and I'm realizing that this strain and a tendency to grow straight up rather than bush out. So I'm weaving them as best I can through the trellis but might have to do some super cropping.





We are reaching the end of week 7 coming up to week 8 of veg and I ended up doing some supper cropping and it was a great success. The first picture was taking right after I supper cropped them and the others were taken the next day. The Lemon Kush bounced back quick and I finally got that even canopy I was going for.

I have now entered Week 1 of Flower and the Lemon Kush stretched quick and were always reaching for the light. I have the Majestic12 LED about 12 to 14 inches above the canopy of the plants and I'm able to keep the temperature in the tent around 78 degrees.

The first picture is the day I flipped the light cycle from 18/6 to 12/12 to induce flowering. The Lemon Kush clones were somewhat perking up to the light and the second picture was taken the very next day. The other photos were taken through the first week of flower.

This is the start of week 2 of Flower for the Lemon Kush clones grown under the Majestic12 LED. During this week, the Lemon Kush stretched quick forward the LED and I was continuously raising the light to keep it 12 to 14 inches above the canopy. At the end of the second week of flower, I added a second trellis to provide support and to help with light penetration.

We are now entering week 3 of flower and the Lemon Kush have stopped stretching. I did one last defoliation where I removed the lower fan leaves that didn't reach past the second trellis and any leaves covering some of the bigger nugs. Everything is running smoothly, and the plants are growing strong under the Majestic12 LED. I have the LED 12-14 inches above the canopy and it has the Lemon Kush praying to the light.

This is the start of week 4 of flower for the Lemon Kush grown under the Majestic12 LED. During this week, I noticed the buds getting larger in size. I don't really have to do anything to the Lemon Kush anymore, just make sure they are watered every other day and keep the temperature and humidity under control. During this week, I also noticed that some of the leaves surrounding the buds were turning slightly purple on the tips of the leaves. Looks great to me!
