LOL man you say some of the funniest shit ive seen in awhile, cool you got the gnats figured out.

The Tahoe Alien they bred is awesome, ive been hooked on alien genetics since getting Fruity Pebbles OG nugs a few times years back (never knew it was so rare back then). A few months ago I got an ounce of organic grown no pesticide used Cheesecake strain from a recreational shop. Was stupid dense/frosty and got me so high I would sit and do nothing for hours unable to think. After finding the first couple seeds (found 23 healthy mature seeds altogether) I looked into the genetics, cant wait to pop them.

Cheesecake bred by Mad Scientist Genetics

Father: Girl Scout Candy (Alien Genetics Alien Rock Candy x Girl Scout Cookies)
(Alien Rock Candy is BOG Sour Dubble x Tahoe Alien)

Mother: Confidential Cheese (LA Confidential x Exodus Cheese)

those pics are fucking insane!

farmhouse genetics (maybe should have put them on my top 10) uses the cut from mad scientist to make a few crosses.

holiday season, you should send me a few of those beans for experimental souvenir purposes of course:huggg:

!! got roots. on cuts !!

first to make it to the tent party is gg4. so fucking happy. one of my favs right back in the fold. life. is. good. once again.

i had some gg4 in prison ...was smuggled onto the block in a jar of cheese spread. you had to buy the entire cheese jar & dig out the nuggets wrapped in plastic buried in the center (and eat the cheese of course). when we smoked it my celly went nuts spreading bengay all over the door for odor control... and i was high as fuck ...just leaning back in my bunk ...faded... like... bro... really? i'll never forget opening that cheese jar. my celly was the man. super connected & a hella generous dude.

"little" midget porn tonight. can you see me smiling?

had a new kinda of coffee drink from monster today... let me tell you its no fucking joke... some potent energy coffee drink that'll blast you off a sleepy cloud. had the vanilla version. tasty as fuck.

i came up with that for a reason. its a secret. but not a secret. a result from fucking around on troll it up. if you talk to that snitch hellraiser, or that rotten b*tch sunni, or that f@g pot roast (aka el penguino , (f)ake (a)ss (g)rower) please tell them i said suck a fat dirty swap donkey c*ck.

yes that is what I meant to say, I admire your humility and strive for that myself, don't always succeed in the pits of despair occasionally think too much of myself but quickly realize that error! In the 1 or 2 times I don't realize, something gets me back on track in a hard way. So I think I understand. Really meant some may think I am what the thread title suggests, I came to see great goodness somehow last several months. I have nothing to say to those with little unopened minds that would judge you or me. We are all useful. NO I like it better your way, f em, we are useless & proud of it! Not part of the problem? Glad to be useless! OH that was hopefully good for us all, but really look forward to see what you did with all you overcame!

okay. got my botanicare 4x2 low tide. they dont fit in the 4x2s at all.

Botanicare LT Cloner Tray - part # 707750
Inside Dim = 43" x 23"
Outside Dim = 45" x 25.5

https://www.hawthornegc.com/shop/product/botanicare-rack-tray-2-ft-x-4-ft

because this item was special order from HTG i cant even take it back. also, they dont take deposits via paypal, internet, or over the phone.

if you add up the gas & tolls for two visits to the store, the tray was nearly $90.

plus, dude was rude over the fact i didnt have my receipt - even though i called the day before for pick-up. the simple fact, the tray wouldnt even be in the store if i didnt pre-pay for it. when he got bitchy for no receipt, for a second, i had thoughts of choking him over the counter. staying outta trouble is my mantra. these fucking garden store employees. i tell ya.

luckily i kept my cool while he searched his records for my purchase.

id say stay away from the botanicare low tide tray if you plan to use it in a "smaller" tent.

it fits in the 4x4, but at 25.5" wide fucks up the spacing in the tent. ill make it work with some kind of low profile totes from wally world. still not happy at all.

also, it doesnt fit on the stainless wire shelves like they advertise. it fits, but the bulkhead hangs over so you can plumb it.

for the wire shelves, the micro-clone variety is better if you dont do ebb/flow for cuts/clones.

https://www.bghydro.com/hydroponics/plastic-grow-trays/cloning-rack-grow-tray-45-x-255.html

the tray i got is great if you have open space rooms... or 5x10" tents... etc.

stay away if you dont want a headache. this is a stoner service announcement from ~useless~

the garden store had roots excel gold for $75+ @ 250ml.

just scored it on fleebay, $36 shipped to my door.

fyi shop smart. i try to do the brick & mortar thing, especially for coco blocks, but no more loyalty to anything but good prices & good service.

a'zon would have taken that 4x2 table back no problem.

irene busted out roots today. already transplanted in a solo. stoked !

with humidity in my home averaging 25-30%, the aero cloner isnt doing me justice.

i always worry the first time or two i clone in a new space. thank the garden gods i decided to back up all those cuts in root riots. they all looking good.

3x3 is poppin' off. plants are starting to drink every two days. they gonna blow up. gonna hold off on pictures until they get a little bigger. 18/6 got me smiling & saving a little $ on electric.

at least my tent/plant game tight. gotta figure out how to maximize my cut game in this new house. any advice would be stellar.

picked up some oyster shell flour & 25lb of worm castings at the garden store cause a) i took a ride & b) the price was great.

the flour is a great add to the containers for calcium and added tilth. happy to make my mix more tailored to our favorite plants.

i'm with you on the cloning troubles during the winter months when the rh is way down. went from 100% during the summer to complete failure on the same plants in the winter. what i ended up doing was putting a wet towel inside the propagator and sprayed the inside of the dome at least twice/day. we went 5/5 on the last cuts we took. it took a couple weeks for them to show roots through the plugs, but they all rooted.

good luck brother :tiphat:

Have you tried an aero cloner. I can’t make myself use anything else in the winter. You can double up cuts and they don’t care. If I use rock wool or rapid rooters I do better if they are spread out not touching each other much or the sides. I try not to lift the lid unless it gets dry and I keep the bottom trey covered in weak nute solution. With the aero cloner I just keep ph between 5.5-5.8 and once one gets roots a few days later they all have roots. Sometimes if the schedule needs it I can leave them in the cloner for 3 weeks and they get monster roots. The best part of the aero though is the transition to 1/2 gal pots. They don’t stall at all and fill with roots in 3-4 days.

i do use an aero cloner. a dwc cloner for making beards. and of course the old stand-by ...the almighty root riots. my favorite hormone (is usually shorter than me, tight body, smaller tits, and a delicious apple ass) is any cheap powder version. im interested in clonex and other varieties but is it worth it? i was using root tech but i found the shit to burn (or discolor) the stems. maybe it was me. shit worked nicely though.

gonna take tid bits from you guys and see if i can adjust my method. ive never had it so bad w/ humidity. full bore raining outside. inside its 32%.

true og got roots! transplanted first thing this morning. only thing better than transplanting very first thing when your eyes open is a nice shower and a cafe con leche.

my garden rocking: stardawg guava, gg4, true og, irene, platinum fire og, afghan kush, desconocida kush, angelica, northern lights blueberry.

waiting on seeds to bust out. alcatraz og & silver crisp.

got more strains & just waiting on roots. hope the cheese busts off roots soon. its truly a bomb strain.

got a co2 bag on the way. things are about to get interesting.

I always use a black tray that holds 12, 6 packs. Either 1.5" rockwool cubes or seedling starter mix I use in the 6 packs. Then a 12" dome over the tray. I keep the vents closed 24/7, except for 10 mins per day. I take the dome off when I first open the veg tent it's in. Making sure the dome sets "tight" on the black tray is a must. If there's any spots where the dome leaves an opening, more than likely those clones will wilt.

Many ways to do it, and most work. That is just how I do things. Oddly enough, cloning was the first thing I ever did with cannabis. My old man's buddy is a grower. But not good at cloning. So every summer, mid-summer we would get a bunch of snips from him to root. We would root them for him. He would come get them once they were rooted. Take them home and make them into mothers.

Then spring time he would bring us a bunch more snips(like 200-300). We would root them and he would come get them. Then every fall we got garbage bags full of smaller buds to trim and keep. But the first time snips got roots, it blew me away. I had never seen a clone before. I popped a cube out and there was white fuzzy stuff all over the cube. I thought something was wrong with them. Took it upstairs to show my father and he laughed and said that's what's supposed to happen.

keeping all this, and the other, information in the mental filing cabinet.

ive never had to dome up cuts for so long. but, ill keep that in mind. recently, i sealed up the 2x2 and have all the cuts inside that, in trays, with water. with the temp a little higher and the increased humidity, the tent seems to be working great.

the aero cloner, i set the dome over the cuts and keep misting it many times a day. also seems to be helping.

i did put .5 ml of floranova grow into the rezzie on the aero cloner. never did that before but im curious.

got roots on fake91.
my strain library keeps getting better.
last year i was sitting in a cell dreaming about all this.

just scored a great deal on wally world dot com. there is no brick/mortar that can beat the below prices.
down to earth: 25lb bags each : bio-live ($44) and bio-fish ($34).
shipping is free! which is for me!

all i need now is some neem seed meal at a great price.

my mix going into the future... 8oz bio live, 8oz bio fish, 8oz oyster shell flour, 8oz neem seed meal, 20lb castings from the ass of the worm, 5 kilo coco coir, & about 30-40% bale of promix HP.

i have a granular type mycos on the way for the mix. i just sprinkle it in as i build the trash can. saves on the great white. the bio-live is chock full of microbes too.

as always, i use great white on every transplant. just a smidge in the hole.

ive been foliar feeding calmag @ 1ml per quart of water. 1x a week. i should be using silica as a wetting agent but im lazy.

been feeding with liquid bat guano, liquid bio root, and liquid kelp. i just do one each feed, few ml per gallon. once i get my shit together at the house, i plan to make my own biochar too. i like to add the aforementioned with a little pee, castings, and mycos to the char & let it sit for a month.

and i need a compost tumbler.

this hobby is never ending. lol! my childrens are worth it though. quality flowers & quality pollen is the result of mad plant love & garden savvy.

hit all my containers, and trash cans for medium storage, with granular mosquito bits today.

my next feed, ill "brew" some bits in purified water and soak everything down.

$36 @ 250ml roots excel showed. perfectly sealed. & my new t5 should be here in < 1 hour.
new year looking fucking stellar.

all i need now is many many many grams of dank flower & hash for head stash :)

one of these days i hope to meet up with the man, who is the man, and have him show me, via direct instruction, how to make oil.

my favorite hormone (is usually shorter than me, tight body, smaller tits, and a delicious apple ass) is any cheap powder version. im interested in clonex and other varieties but is it worth it?

Ive had 100% cloning rate from dipping cuttings in Schulz take root powder and then Great White before going into 1.5" rockwool plugs, 36 cuttings in a black tray under a humidity dome like DTOG mentioned.

Heres a link to the guide I followed (This method has rooted cuts faster than anything else ive tried):

https://www.growweedeasy.com/cloning-made-easy

When I was filling a 96 site turbo klone and 60 site EZ Clone every few weeks with cuttings I used Clonex, same clone rooting rate but took longer (~14 days) usually because I didnt mist or dome them to control humidity (set and forget style in the aero cloners pretty much lol). Same location same 400ppm well water used in the tray/humidity dome as the aero cloners. Main difference seemed to be the dome/misting, opening/closing dome vents and removing dome at the right times for wet/dry cycles to promote roots.

i did put .5 ml of floranova grow into the rezzie on the aero cloner. never did that before but im curious.

Fwiw Ive never added nutrients while rooting cuts, only after roots show.

got a co2 bag on the way. things are about to get interesting.
:woohoo:

They seem like a scam/snake oil to me from what Ive found looking into them over the years. Air exchange twice per minute is all the co2 you will ever need imho.

i should be using silica as a wetting agent but im lazy.

Silica/silicon is not a surfactant, yucca is what you want (little goes a long way).

one of these days i hope to meet up with the man, who is the man, and have him show me, via direct instruction, how to make oil.

Honestly its pretty simple, have you done extractions in the past? Reminds me of making candy in alot of ways (heating, cooling, agitiation affecting final texture)

silica as a wetting agent : wetting agent is for "soil" feeds.

surfactant is for foilar feeds. aloe or yucca would be right on time. im wondering what (AN's ?) wet betty is made up of as i write this.

even a garden chem company defines k2o3si as a wetting agent :

https://www.organicgardeningsolutions.com.au/products/agsil

https://aquagardening.com.au/potassium-silicate-agsil

plus coots, who we all know from the "coots mix", uses it as a wetting agent. i think he describes it as a surfactant too.

i loved that link to grow weed easy's cloning tutorial. very informative.

never had a problem cloning, ever, but a new environment is always a concern for me. the low humidity in my new house can be counteracted with misting & doming the cuts more. i think, treating my 2x2 like a "domed tray" is working much better. i can tell the cuts are happier. i might forgo the aero cloner after this round until i can get into the basement where conditions would be more ideal (and where the humidity is higher).

ive used the co2 sheets with great success. before i got raided, just bought a $100 co2 meter to get more accurate measurements & confirmation of increased ppm with the sheets. i can attest to their bumping up my yield for sure... especially since i ran the same strains for production (sale) for years.

for the $, it was a neat experiment but no substitute for real deal co2 injection. i definitely want to run a sealed room in my basement just cant get to that right now. however, i feel, in a tent environment, and with the ability to seal it up pretty good, the co2 bag should give me some benefits same as the sheets. maybe ill grab a co2 meter and do before & after comparisons. plus, the co2 unit i like is about $85 and does rh%, temp, & co2 ppm.

i dont know about trying extraction by myself with youtube as a guide. i love youtube. and, same time, i also find it retarded. i worked as a sous chef in a french kitchen for years and am very familiar with candy making... but being there wit my own eyes while someone does it in front of me, showing me the steps, blasting off a few dabs in the process, :), is the best way to do it safely in my home. plus, i'll get to hang with a thorough icmag member, score a couple of cuts, and get some oil education.

beats watching football on tv.

love the hash, especially from jack the ripper, the only extract i ever made is bubble.
