great thread guys been wanting sumthin like this 4 ages. Have to agree with peeps linking http://stores.ebay.com.au/Discount-Hydroponic-Supplies . their prices r half as much as the local hydro store n when i questioned him(local) why his nutrients where exactly twice the price he replied with " yeah they sell stolen goods thats how they get em so cheap to you, they're been investigated about it now":bashhead: seems like Advanced Nutrients vs General Hydroponics:muahaha:. ive recently bought a Eutech Ecotestr 2 from http://stores.ebay.com.au/rs-limited n at $80 cheapest on the net by $25. these guys have the cheapest Sunpulse digi bulbs ive seen so far http://www.way2grow.com.au . lastly this site has the cheapest trimmers n thermostats as well as sum other good cheapies http://stores.ebay.com.au/ozponics . :gday:

Was wondering if anyone knows whats going on with Discount Hydroponic Supplies on Ebay. Tried calling no answer and no response to emails. Their site says shut for 2 weeks coz moving but its been like 6 weeks now. For me they were the best by far and stocked heaps and products that nobody else did. Thnx

I've noticed that they are a little slow in getting back online too. But, I have items of theirs on my Ebay watchlist and i have noticed over the last week or so till time of writing that more items in my list from there are coming back with how many they have in stock. Just an item here and there over a week or so, not all at once.

I'll say they've had computer dramas, or stocktaking when they moved took longer than they thought. Been there, done that, don't miss it at all.

Anyone know where to find superthrive? Does bunnings have it?

I've never seen it here...probably over rated.

Any nutes you need for soil are generally available at Bunnings.

Hydro...go to a gydro specialist

No SuperThrive available @ Bunnings, you will have to get it online or go to a Hydro store

I'm trying to avoid the hydro store all together there products are always double the price you pay online and my local one is always empty and the owner just stands there watching you creepily. id rather just get nutes and things from a local bunnings or a gardening centre.

150 watt hps

150 watt hps

hi
i'm trying to put together a new lighting system for a cab, 600mm x 500mm.
does anyone know where i can get a 150 watt lamp and ballast in Aussie.
A home security or outside wall light, with inbuilt ballast, is OK as long as i can take it apart and modify it.

Forget superthrive and use something organic like kelp or worm leachate via compost tea or just as is.

I like the clear plastic bpa and lead free boxes plus lids now widely available, made by Starmaid.
