BOG Seeds Help Desk (ask questions of BOG) :D
I have decided this is the best way to keep a running thread functioning. Consider this forum your chance to ask grow questions. Remember that my expertise lies mostly in indoor pot growing other than hydroponics.
I will provide grower support to all growers who feel I might be able to help. My answers are my opinions based on my experience but they could be wrong sometimes. My request it to ask only a couple questions at a time so I can keep track easily even when wasted. ![]() Now just assume I have finished speaking somewhere and you are in the crowd. I am asking for questions now and the audience is silent. :( Please feel free now... I will try to be here most weekdays and to attempt to answer all questions. ![]() ![]() Bogglegum...not just for rookies but so easy.

I have learned so much from you BOG from your grow forums both here at IC and back at OG even, but one thing I have been wondering about lately are the new digital ballasts, have you used them at all or would you like to upgrade to them eventually. They supposedly offer less energy consumption less heat generated and longer bulb life and I know they weigh a lot less. I dont have any but they do sound quite interesting.

I have none as yet but if what you say about them it true it sounds like a no brainer. I am sick of ballasts losing their hps ignitors. My advice has always been to invest in good quality lighting even though I am cheap.

I always keep my boxer shorts on at least no matter how warm it is in my grow room because I don't want to encourage males or hermie types but in your case I think nude is best. They need to see what they are trying to be and that's a very sexy female just like you sweetie.

Whats up BOG
I really admire your work, and I can't wait to grow out the pack of LSD sitting here in my drawer..... I have a question for you regarding your feeding methods during flower. I am wondering your reasons for using the foxfarm big bloom in early bloom, and the Earth Juice Bloom in late bloom. I am growing in a SWC / Aero tub using Pure Blend Pro, and I was going to use the Big Bloom & EJ Bloom as bloom additives / ripening additives Thanks Smoke |

The books aren't perfect from the printer as yet but it shouldn't take much longer so watch for the announcement here that they are available. It could take a month still I am sorry to say. :(
I feed with the pure blend bloom in flowering early because it has nitrogen keeping the plants healthy. I do the FF bigbloom in the one time large treatment of 2/3 cup per gallon and at my final transplant when sexed in early flower it is given. The bat guano is in the pure blend and the FF BB and bat guano makes for good tasting buds according to soma like mango flavor. I like these early even though the FF BB is more of a later flowering fert as is the Earth Juice bloom which I only use in the latter half of flowering as it has no nitrogen. I think it helps good resin production without causing bad taste. In reality I feed less than most growers because I find that my mix provides almost enough and that mainly the supplementation is most needed in flowering. Burning plants in veg is a bad idea. You methods are a lot different but you reasoning sounds valid Smoke and Be Kind. I find the best finishing agent is just water in clearing. BOG ![]() The book has all the text correct but some pages are not properly positioned with some titles to pics on the previous page and such but these problems are small in reality and the book looks great. The pics are all very clear and it is very easy to read on the very white and high quality paper throughout the entire book. The double spaced text makes it easy for even old folks to follow and I kept it simple. Writing the book in easy to understand terms. A strainguide of my strains a a glossary is included along with a full color budshot section that most love to show their friends. You won't be disappointed by the book but its the basics of how I grow with my slant on things. Like how I like to make my hash or cure my weed. My methods are all explained without going into the advanced stuff. I teach basics. BOG ![]() ![]() Soon you will be sawing buds as tight as this... ![]()
