How to convert Lux to PPF / PPFD? - Growing in Greenhouses - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Hi all,

I have a Quantum Board led and a lumen meter. I would like to know how I can convert the lumens to PPF so I can adjust the light output.

There are many calculators online but are they real? are they effective?

Lumens multiplied by 0.0185 = PPFD

May I ask where you got that number? I'm curious, so I can check against other sources. I found this lux to ppfd converter online with tables, but I don't know if it's right either: https://mimarihuana.es/ppfd-para-cultivar-marihuana/

It is interesting that depending on the tone of light (K) the conversion is different.

0.0185 seems to be the conversion factor for sunlight.
For (white) leds (or any artificial lighting) you get a different factor depending on CRI and color temperature.

Edit: Twice I have wrote out lots, only to click advanced to add pics, and lost my post. The gist of which, is use the bar chart info as a starting point. Not fact.
