This is my second grow. Put down two cheese twin clones and added a rack of LEDs. Using gnat gaurd for this round and started in full size 15 gal bags so I won't need to transplant. I'm thinking about trying to SCRoG or SoG. But I'm hesitant. I also added a mushroom grow kit to raise the CO2 level in the tent. Any tips for a beginner? The photos show the comparison over 8 days.

Update: pics at 20 days veg. These ladies are spreading out all over the place. Very little vertical growth. Can't bring my self to try chopping and training at this point, I need more experience. I will grow this strain again and put more into trying to scrog. Flipped the switch at 21 days and they are just a couple days into flower. I'll post an update again later. Definitely cheddar! Smells yummy.

Not a bad decision to run it original....just keep in mind of other phenotypes of that strain.
I have 2 going now that vary in height by a foot.....1 being more Sativa dom is taller.
I always got more stretch from HID's rather than LED's, so you should be fine.
The strain matters most to me when speaking of stretch to me.
Are you running around 900w of LED with those 3 rigs?
The cool thing about LED's that I'm finding out myself is the variance in terpene profile.
A lot different than what I saw with HID's.
Overall less product, but def a medicinal/connoisseur grade.

Yes I am running 900W. My grow space is 2x3x9, but my filter reduces my grow hight by about a foot, I have it suspended from the top of the tent. My first grow was only on 2 LED racks, 600w. Interesting thought about the LEDs having that affect. I might just have to give that a test when I move to a larger place and can run two tents.

I've had numerous discussions with people who say, but haven't proven to me that US company produced LEDs are worth it rather than the Amazon LEDs.
I have the Amazon Chinese made and bang for buck.......they work.
That being said I've resisted picking up the NextLight Mini LED for the past 6 months.
I would love to have the motivation for the DIY kits, but too lazy.
If I can remember I only vegged my Confidential Cheese 2 weeks before flipping them due to height restrictions.
They were already about a foot high when I got them.
I moved the carbon filter to the end of the line aka the attic saving space.
They're necessary for most, but too fucking big inside most smaller tents.

They are Galaxy hydro LEDS and I do believe they are Chinese. I bought them off Amazon. I am really pleased. Flost to performance ratio is awesome. My electric bill hardly budged on 12/12 and on 24 it's just noticeable. This has been a very economic growth this time around. I have plenty of nuts left from my first grow so itsorry just been the electric, the cost of one new lamp that I added and the cost of the two clones I purchased from the dispensary. I'm going to post another pic. These ladies are amazing, pretty much all tops and I haven't done any cutting or pruning. Putting the gnat gourd down at the beginning of the grow was a good idea. I've had no gnatsuch what so ever.

Just a couple updated pics. I'm around 21 days flowering. The turn was a bit slower then my first grow, but the twins seem to be taking off now. Top buds are about thumb size and there are so many... lol. I'm not sure if cheese is a recommended grow for beginners, but this round has gone so easy with no issues and I would recommend it. The smell is really nice, a little pungent, but definitely has a cheddar undertone. I'll post more pics in a week or so for anyone's who following.

I ran some cheese recently that I got cuts of and found that I got larger flowers and better yields by topping and training. On an all organic regimen I seemed to get a better terrine profile than my buddy did win his hydro, go figure. Once you grow the cheese the flavor will linger with you always...

Meow, what strain would you recommend as a moderate challenge? I have not tried any type of advance grow such as scrog or supper cropping. I'm not apposed to trying, but I wanted to make sure I was set and could afford to lose a girl or two in between grows before I tried. I think this is going to yield what I need to be able to spread my wings a bit. I just need to remember not to share it all... hard being a proud father... lol.
Found one of the fans on one of my LED racks went out tonight, super bummed, but the LEDS are still working. I'm hoping it makes it through this cycle and I can replace it on my next grow.

I run out all the time from sharing but it feels really good to give great bud to people that would other wise never have it ....nice grow makes me wanna run my leds again ....think I might switch stuff up soon ...sorry about the fan breaking hope it last till the end
