distance light-drivers

how long can the cable from the driver to the lights be, for placing them outside the growroom
at what point do you get losses, does it depend on wattage?

:tiphat:

25' is normally the limit, where you have to begin considering losses due to resistance. most diy are not effected by the outcome. I use 22 gauge two conductor cable for up to 8 feet for dc volts up to 184v and 1a with no problems.
