Dear ladies and gentlemen :
I proudly present a new favorite of mine:
MALAWI from Ace !
This is a legendary pure African Sativa.
It was carefully worked on by those fantastic breeders in Spain, but it was never hybridized.
100 % Sativa :
Old Malawi Killer X New Malawi Killer
Grown indoors under 400W HPS, in soil.

Bag Appeal :
After a 5 month cure the buds have an overall light green look with a few thin golden colored leaves in between the wispy flowers.
The trichome coverage is like out of this world, especially for a pure Sativa.
This is not a "hairy" bud.
The pistils are not very pronounced but the calyxes are pretty big.
All in all I give it a 7 out of ten for bag appeal.
Mostly because of the outstanding trichome density !
Besides that the flowers look pretty unspectacular.
But when you try to crumble them in order to prepare for a spliff everything sticks together..

Bouquet :
The smell has a sweetness to it that reminds me of some Durban phenos.
But the dominant smell is bitter, oily, wild, dark, earthy and dank.
Taste :
I didn' t try it in a bong or pipe so far.
I' m only smoking spliffs lately.
Ca. 70 % weed mixed with 30% natural tobacco almost directly from the farm.
On a dry hit you get a taste of the sweetness and some bitter and earthy tones.
Once lit, the smoke is quite dense and releases a very oily, dark, earthy and bitter taste that is accomplished by bittersweet undertones.
First I didn' t like it at all, but it seems as if I got used to it in the meantime and even begin to like it.
It is DANK to say the least.
The High :
I take a couple of tokes and do not
really feel much.
Almost 10 minutes have passed since I took the first deep and curious toke and I can feel something, but not really much.
As I begin to feel a bit disappointed, I feel
some tachycardia developing and a buzz starting to roll along.
This one is a creeper.
The high intensifies and before you even know it you are UP !
This is not what I would call a christal clear Sativa.
The high is dense, narcotic, very uplifting, motivating but calming at the same time.
It motivates you and even pushes
you, but does not at all make you feel
nervous or even anxcious.
The high is, in parts, also quite psychedelic.
Everything looks wider, light visual and auditory (pseudo) hallucinations.
Even the sense for smell is altered.
Very deep and dense for
a Sativa.
It definitely has a spiritual and meditative side to it as well.
Very creativity enhancing and productive.
I smoked this stuff the whole day, over a period of 17 hours and I still don' t feel
bored.
Actually this is the second day that I only smoke this weed.
And that does not happen too often to me.
Normally I can only do this with my beloved
X 18 Pakistani.
My tolerance is quite high and I normally smoke a couple if different strains over
the day.
It relaxes me in the evening, but it is an
awsome day starter as well.
I worked like a champ today, had brilliant ideas, did a great workout, perfectly socialized with other people.
ZERO paranoia or nervousness.
Even tough it pushes you it is not speedy.
It almost feels like pure Cocaine somehow.
But it is WAY better !
No devil' s powder needed.
What can I say ?
This is fantastic, multidimensional herb with a top quality high that somehow reminds me of the best Haze/NL buds from
the 90s.
I highly recommend to get your hands on this stuff.
Compared to all the random hybrids of today, but also to most other pure Sativas this is almost like a
different "drug".
Note :
This bud needs a long cure in order to show it' s full potential.
3 months minimum.
The 5 month samples I had during the last 2 days are the best so far.
Would I recommend to grow it ?

It is not hard to grow and has a
rather short flowering time for a
pure Sativa.
I harvested mine after about 90
of 12/12.
