Growers-Albany, NY?

Hey growers,

Just wondering if anyone else is having a hard time getting supplies like soil and other stuff from your local stores?

Plus, a shout-out to the guys at Saratoga Organics, Ballston Spa, NY. They're the best for advice and good range of products.

Yes, good point. I have immediate gratification issues so when I need/want something, i get it pretty quickly, if I can, locally.

The Fox Farm soil has been the hardest to get. I finally gave up and am trying Lush. Anyone have any experience with this brand?

Anyway! Good gardening success to all!

I'm not in the Albany area, but I've had problems buying my medium of choice. I prefer B'Cuzz pro mix, as it seems to have more perlite. Lately, I've been using plain HP. The B'Cuzz product is rarely in stock. Last week I wanted to buy 5 bails. None to be found in my area, but at least I can get pro mix.

Yeah this past May coronavirus was heavy there was a huge run in all growing supplies from traditional outlets like agricultural stores / grow shops you couldn’t get for the life of you ... I’m sure there will be another mad rush this spring what it is interesting with our neighboring state New Jersey going legal I can only anticipate it’s going to kind of kill the bud market significantly for old time growers
