her stalk is about 1.25" diameter for about a foot above the lid, :eek: i kept the nutes low, like under 400 untill last week. i was gonna keep her as a mother but now im thinking 800w shrub grow :chin: gotta nother one almost as big :joint: this is my first time using a recirculating dwc, Thanks Blaze! :woohoo: only thing i f'd up was no net pot, i went pool noodle for a mediumless grow, again thinkin small mother plant. now i have a lil monster! lol

Got that right. Blocked drains twice, stuffed carpet. They were like concrete, the bucket was a 20ltr, when I pulled the stalk every last bit of hydroton came with it. Plants were 6 ft. :yoinks:

heres a lil more from this week. first we have some underage root porn




here is the other plant thats a lil smaller than the one i posted last time. sorry its sideways, hust imagin your lyin on the couch for this one :bat:


and finally the large one again.



in this picture, it shows the results of the air stone vs waterfall aeration method. if you look at how the roots grew towards one side while twisting together, you will see above them a 1/4 hole in the lid. i use a recirculatin system and thats the side the nutes pour in from. it makes the nutes churn in the bucket and caused the roots to gently tangle into each other. the black tube on the left is an 8" pvc extension that i use to keeep the airstone near the bottom of the bucket. i would not say remove the airstones because they do help circulate and aerate but nowhere near the effect of a simple lil trickle of nutes to break surface tension.
