Can anyone tell me what is going on with these. Leaves dark green. Single pronged weird buds forming that are stretchy and airy.

They're flowering.

1. More P/K and Mg.
2. Check the environment - temperature, relative humidity.

The stem is showing brown spots.

BTW: When leaves get fried like that brown one, do get rid of it.

how many hours of light are they getting, looks like it went into flower.

Yes. They are 19 days in flower. They have too mich nitrogen in them. Ph is 7.8 because all of organic matter being broken down by compost teas. So they are locked out.

So... you planted them in soil that wasn't fully matured and ready for planting.

I'm betting you won't do that again.

Fertilizer burn, you mean? Yep, have had that problem with manure not properly mixed in.
