hi folks,
can any of you experts tell me if this skunk#1 plant is ready to harvest?
its been flowering almost 2 months(57 days).it doesnt seem to be growing anymore...the trichomes look pretty close to being done but, this is first grow and im kinda worried if i let it go ill ruin it. we dont want that!!!! :yoinks:

Wot percentage of ur pistils have gone off red/brown? hard to tell from the pivc but i would say at least another week...watch how they go they shud pack on a llittle more tricjhs and the calyxes will swell...she looks at maturation stage to me and imo she looks like she needs a bit longer...peace

the best $10.00 i spent was at radio shack for a pocket microscope.

this way, you can really fine tune your buds. and you will be a lot less likely to harvest early.

they look good, you wont hurt them by waiting a day or 3 until you can magnify some trichomes. you took them 57 days in flower and you obviously gave them adequate veg time...don't harvest them early.

most certainly cure up a lower nug, and do some 'quality control', though.

good work...how was the odor during flower?

did you do a grow thread?

Do you have a radio shack Illuminated Microscope 60-100x? Thats how u tell when it's done by the trichome head color.They look like they could go another week or 2 that's just my :2cents: I don't see any yellowing did u flush ?usually when they get done they start to look like they are dying but yours still look like they need a week or 2 hope this helps .It's looking healthy niice skunk plant :D good job!!Peace Bm357:wave:

sleepy...no real odor unless you get really close..ill get a microscope ..i have a 20x printers glass...im a journeyman for a large printing company..but,i been off work for 6 months with an illness..go back monday so ill grab the mag glass and check..by then it should ripen more..thx again

I WOULD LET IT GO FOR 2 MORE WEEKS , AND GREAT JOB ON THE GROW ,, IT LOOKS HEALTY , NOW YOU SHOULD TRY TO USE SOME NUTES TO UNCREASE YEILD , THAT PLANT PUTS OFF HUGE COLAS ,, AND SOME PRUNNING WILL INCREASE BUD SIZE AND YEILD.. BUT LOOKS GOOD ,, I WOULD LET IT GO FOR 7 TO 10 MORE DAYS ..

thx sun....the strainguide says 2 more weeks..strainguide must be pretty accurate because use fellas say 10-14 days left..use guys are amazing!!!!
big....i did flush yesterday with half strength pure blend bloom and 3/4 strenghth ff bloom so.....ill post pics in 1 week from now and see if its done

I agree with SunSimluator that she can go another 2 weeks. I also agree that she could take another feed before starting the flush.

Yea Skunk is mostly sativa. All the ones I grew went 70 days. So flush it with plain water in about a week and watch real closely the next 4-7 days. Best of luck.
