Maxibright Ceramic HPS

Hello to everyone,

I saw that Maxibright recently introduced to the market a "new" bulb - a 600w CMH that can be connected to an E40 fitting and operate with magnetic ballasts. From the promo of the website i'm linking:

Brand new from maxibright, for 2020, the maxibright cmh 600w agro 3k lamp

more flower less power
use the agro lamp for all growth stages
90 cri ( sunlight is 100 cri )
high efficency 1.6 umol
significantly increased plant mass compared to hps
significantly higher yield per watt compared to hps

These lamps can only be used with 600w magnetic Hps ballasts ( do not use with digital ballasts )
You do not need a cdm/cmh ballast to use this bulb. They work with any old school 600w magnetic ballast.

What do you think about those bulbs? Are they worth buying? Checking threads in other forums - about the Hortilux model - I didn't find many info and good reviews.

Hi

I've been interested in these bulbs, but like you I haven't been able to find much info on them except that you may not get the benefits or life expectancy of cmh because of not having a square wave ballast. Sorry that's not much help

Nice to see someone on here use the same shop as me
