It begins !!

These are FREE seeds. Thank you, Mr B.

These will be kept inside in a warm place and covered until they pop. Then they'll be planted in 5 inch (125mm) pots in very loose soil and moved into a grow box under 13/11 light until early April. Then they'll be moved outside because natural daylight will be a bit longer than 13/11 and weather should be consistently good. They'll only return to the grow box if weather and sunlight are poor. Once they're too large to fit in the box, they'll be left outside permanently unless there's a freak bad weather event. I'll be feeding with Nectar of the Gods nutrients. Once they outgrow the 5 inch pots, they'll be transplanted to 7 gallon (26.5 liter) fabric pots.

The light brown color on the paper towels is very dilute 'beginning' nutrients.

I live in a subtropical climate at longitude 29.

FIRST IMAGE: The top pan is there to block light and minimize evaporation.


SECOND IMAGE: Seeds will be covered with a very damp (not wet) towel on top as well as the bottom (top towel seen at left).

The seedlings have all broken through soil but... I'M AN IDIOT!!

I broke a cotyledon off one of the Critical Sour seedlings while coaxing off a stubborn shell. In previous grows, I've lost seedlings from the shells holding the young cotyledons closed so I tried to gently wipe it off of this one. I hope I didn't kill the poor little thing. My impatience gets the best of me, sometimes.

A few hours later, she's perked up a bit. It appears I didn't killer her after all.

MEtoo every time i accidently kill one of my seedlings because of impatients

She’ll be fine man. If I ever get casings that won’t let go I drip a tiny drop of water onto the casing and leave for an hour or so, this softens it for easy removal
