They have not pressured me to discontinue the use of extract, for that I am blessed.
That I go with sublingual use seems make it slightly more acceptable.

I do not think that big pharma and thus our medical system will ever be
genuinely accepting of cannabis. I see some one different almost each
time I go in. Most of them just sort of wince a little as they look over my
medical history.
Maybe one out of five want to know more about how the extract has worked
out for me. I tell them the truth, and keep it short.
When I was a kid, I lived in Kowloon, was back in the sixties, and they still allowed the seniors there to have opiates- due to the history.
A compassionate means of dealing with a tragic chapter of human history.
As I deal with the medical system, I get the feeling that it may well be how they have decided to deal with cannabis here.
Let the old people with a life time of use behind them to continue
the use, while still sending out negative messaging about cannabis
to young people.
The shingles is new to me, it showed up over night, as a lump on
the outside of my leg half way between my thigh and my knee.
I had no idea what it was, I thought it may have been some kind
of infection as it looked like it was forming pustules, so I pressed
a little to see if I could get it to drain.
That was a mistake, and it hurt so much I think I passed out.
That was when I knew I was in trouble and I called for an
appointment.
The place I go to is used as a teaching hospital.
They always ask if I would mind if others could come in a take a look.
2 MDs informed a half a dozen interns that this is a classic presentation of shingles.
I put the creme on it until it went down.
Told me to come back to come back if it flairs up again,
and scheduled me to get the other half of the shingles vaccine with my next visit.
