I had listened to the Jay Thomas show on Sirius radio every day while I gardened. Hadn't realized that I had been listening for 15 hours a week for 9 years. That's a couple years of full time work. Anyway, his passing had an affect on me, it turns out I didn't realized how much I cared for that community until I heard the news.
