:yoinks: oops :biglaugh: gotta hate when your own advice comes back to haunt you :pointlaug
Just messin with ya  Tiny lil glich in the long growing process

Chrystal doesn't look to be bothered at all. Very nice sativa traits on them.
Between the two, you should have a nice variety of medicine when finished :yummy:
ahhhh....they grow up so fast :canabis:

Funny...I didn't even notice it was 4/20 all day (stoner :bat: ) but...I did finish my last Blueberry joint today

TmL- Yea i was bound to screw up at least once during this grow. I still expect to screw up a few more times in this grow :pointlaug
Yea the chrystal is surprising me in terms of growth and resistance. The ice was much more vigorous and resistant to damage than the chrystals when this grow began, but now the tables have turned. :chin: Thanks for stopping by bro! Damn! it sounds like its 420 every day in the igloo; you gotta invite me over one day :D

BR- Thanks man, your grow is pretty damn awesome too.

M-3x- Thanks for stopping by!

Zues- Thanks man, i cant wait either. I'm totally dry of weed and i refuse to crawl back to a dealer. :badday: So the wait is just killing me. :yummy: Thanks for stopping by!

SirSmokalot  Thanks for the props man, i really appreciate it.
Yea space is limited but its actually just the right amount of space to do a grow. Any less and my plants will get cooked after the HPS turns on. :hotbounce
I hope your friend chooses a bigger dresser than mine. If you need any advice on building one, you can PM me or undergroundman (he got a stealth dresser too). Dont forget to take a look at the link-o-rama for more inspiration. :chin:
Yea be careful with doodoo fertilizers, and check the res every other day or so for any sharp changes in the solutions conditon. Well anyway, i hope your dro plant makes a full recovery :petting: and i wish you a happy and healthy grow!

yeah man unlucky and nice save!! I think it's time for more pictures, don't you? I'm still contemplating hydroponics but i like the fact that plants grow out of dirt quite happily and theres little to it, just let nature take its cause. water them when the soil gets dry, raise the light when the plants get too high, just sit back and relax and watch them grow. Just like here but i get the end product unlike here :p

PEACE

thanks for the offer Pontiac! i will take you up on that soon. the LINK-O-RAMA has inspired me already from the get go! thanks again for that as well. i was planning on getting my buddy an armoir. that is slightlymore head room allowing for 3 ft plants from soil to 8" from light. should be cool provided there's proper ventiltion. Pic time? keep up the good work boss!! GROW SAFE!

Han'- You got it! Pics comming in a few. :D Yea, hydro is tiring me out these days; it makes me wonder why i didnt keep things simple. However, i do know that the super-dank harvest will rekindle my love for hydro. Nevertheless, I do like the sound of that "keep it simple" rule and plan on doing a 100% organic soil grow in the future. Thanks for stopping by!

rkrone- Thanks for the comment! :joint: Yea there is a resonating noise comming out after i turn on the dayton. The magnitude of the noise strictly depends on the cabinets proximity to the wall. I've noticed that if the cabby is close to the wall, the resonating noise is noticable from a distance. However, when i keep the cabby just little further from the wall, the resonating noise almost completley nullifies, and all i hear is the air movment of the dayton. Its a little annoying and can be easily fixed by placing a sheet of styrofoam on the back door of the cabinet, but i'm to cheap and lazy. :bat:
The noise isnt really much of a security issue for me because i go into "stealth mode" when i have visitors comming over or when my free-loading moochers come by. In stealth mode, i (will) turn off the dayton and hps, leave the CFLs on, lower the adjustable pumps output, and put the circulation fan at low setting. The cab is DEAD silent at this mode and doesnt disturb the plants cycles. As of now i do all this manually, but i plan on getting a "remote controlled outlet" where i can just press a button do all this. Thanks for stopping by!

SSA- Yup! pics are comming right up. Damn i wish i had that armoire lol. :D Thats sure is alot of head room. You could probably make it an "All-in-One" cab, where the mommas, clones, blooms, and utilities are kept in one cab. Thanks for the comments and thanks for stopping!

Holy SHITE! :yoinks: Its only been 5 days sinse my last update and i cant believe the growth difference when i compare pics! Looks like the ICE caught up to the chrystal in terms of growth. Its almost like the ICE and Chrystal are fighting for my attention; one day the chrystal looks bigger, but then the ICE looks even bigger the next. :chin:

Well anyway I did a complete res change right after the previous update. It was a breeze to change the res all thanks to my new "kerosene pump" (see pic below). These battery powered pumps easily transfers liquids from container to container.  Its quite possibly the best $10 i've ever spent.  If you need more info on tools/techniques that eases up hydro res changes, then check this link: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=35598

After the res change i added some new nutes and not surprisingly, the ph rose to over 6 (from 5.1) by the next day. This time i was prepared :dueling: and immediatly dropped the ph when ever it got too high. As of right now, the ph has finally stabalized and is around 5.9 for both plants. I will drop it to 5.5 after this update.

The plants are showing absolutley no signs of ph/tds damage and i'm very happy. :D

Well anyway, i changed the light cycle to 16/8 in order to promote preflower growth and to prepare them for 12/12. The plants are actually looking big enough to go into 12/12 a week earlier than expected (The original plan is to go into flowering at day 35).

What do you guys think? Should i go into flowering a week earlier? Or should i stick with my orginal schedule?

This thing is a time saver:

I look forward to seeing how this turns out. I have read a lot about stealth grow cabinets like the one you have going here. I'm moving into an apartment near my college for the next semester and i have been thinking about trying one out.

:yoinks: wow dude, those suckers have really exploded with growth!!! I gotta try DWC one of these days...They look fantastic, and IMHO, I would let them go a little longer in veg, maybe a week more judging by the speed of growth, but its your call man...I can;t wait to see what kind of buds that ICE produces, keep it up man, I love the colorful updates. Peace.

Man...you're gettin high tech. Remote controlled Stealth Cab :biglaugh: Yet you're too lazy to put a piece of styrofoam up? :biglaugh:
I love how you completely research something before you do it Pontiac. You're a perfectionist in some ways and your methods always proove successfull

I can't believe how fast those plants are growing :yoinks: Makes me wanna try a dwc grow :chin:
I hafta agree with Zeus, you could definately start now, a week more will just most likely increase your yield.

Those ladies look great man  You're doing one helluva job bud :respect:

i love that stealth isnt neccessary but is so easily attainable, and with that remote switch it will be the james bonds of grow cabinets:D

since you probably know the answer to this i will ask, if i wanted to isolate a few items on a remote switch could i just splice a toggle switch into an extension cord and use the original male and female ends?

rkrone- Sorry for the misunderstanding, but what i meant to say was a "wireless" remote controlled outlet, so there wont be any need for splicing or anything. All i do is plug it in and viola! I have complete contol of my setup from almost anywhere in the house. Heres a pic of what i meant:
cputopiaonline_1944_4258812

The beauty of these outlets is the price; this unit costs under $10. Plus the range is about 100ft!! Oh and the answer to your question is "yes you can". Just make sure the toggle switch is rated for the amount of enegery youre drawing, and make sure the contacts are well insulated. However, I recommend you save your self an extension cord and just get the wireless outlets. Thanks for stopping by!

TML- Well if i choose the styrofoam, then i'll have to stop by the hardware store, take it home and tape it on to the back door. :badday: However, i can just order the remote controled outlets online and plug it in when it gets here. :D C'mon TML, youre talking to a guy who promised a grow 1 year ago. :pointlaug
Anyway, you just gotta to do a dwc grow man! I mean, you already get DWC-like harvests with soil, imagine the possibilities if you go DWC! Its gonna be a guarenteed block-buster bud-porno! :jerkit: errr... I mean grow-show! :yoinks:
Well, i decided to take zues's and your advice and go a little longer with the vegging; youre right, it can only increase my yield. :D
Anyway thanks for the nice comments; it's always great when you stop by!

Zues- Yea youre absolutley right, one more week should do it; thanks for the advice! Maybe i'll even follow my original plans and go to flowering after day 35, but only if they keep their distance from the hps. I cant wait for the ice either man, i love that its a dominant indica and indys are my favs. :yummy: Nice, looks like youre also considering DWC :D ; I'm glad this grow got you thinking about it. Thanks for stopping by bro!

Ramero- I wish you the best of luck. Sinse youre in college, you'll be studying and be near your desk alot. So, this setup may be pefect for you: http://icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=32344

....cuz thats much easier than my idea to splice in a toggle switch...
