Hello

Do someone knows, how much % elemental Ca is in Calcium chlorid CaCl2?

I would like to know a dosage of CaCl2 to hit 150 ppm of Ca

Or maybe someone knows alternative how to increase Ca in hydro without increase Nitrogen?

In 100 gr of CaCl2 you will have about 36 gr of Ca++
You need to dissolve 450 mg of CaCl2 in 1 Liter of water to get a solution containing 150 PPM Ca++

thanks ,agronomist!

So is 36 % of Ca and 64 % of Cl. (36g ca-64g cl)

Can so much Chloride do som harm to a palnt?

I think i read in one thread that continued application of Chloride is not good for a palnts?

thanks for help

Why Calcium Chloride? Calcium Nitrate works just fine.... its 15.5% total N and 19% Ca

oops now I see you don't want to add N.. there are a few foliar Ca options out there without the extra N
