Attempting to tame this beast some.
Been sick for a bit, other hobbies.
I should have made the screen taller, not a proper SCROG.
I cut slits in the back of the bucket for more air circulation.

Hi man nice thread.
I'm using this balast and bulb combi for years with an improve on quality and quantity. Its a cheaper version of the cdm/cmh bulbs.
Got both and a G12 to E40 adapter for under 60 euro. And they are also avaliable in 70w.
First time using that light i got 2 strains that did grow well but developed only tiny buds so i add an hps for the last weeks and all the babys exploded.
Since then i use the the 1-2 osrams for veg and first 1/3 of bloom and then add 250-400w hps with nice results.
Great about the cmh/cdm is that they run a little cooler and the plants can grow very close to them without burning. And their price.
One downside is that the light intesity drops after about 6 month of usage, but i'm lazy and use them for 12 month and i'm ok with the little yield drop.
There are some grow reports here with the lower wattage cmh/cdm.

For 90e Spider Farmer and totally lazy Hempy, I’m happy. Smaller flowers than my DIY SunStrip.
For my hernia recovery I put an inch of Perlite in the whole tray for my small Hempy bucket plants, and topped with coco, to make it so less frequent watering were needed. Once only every 3 days.
I’m over the difficult part, only allowed to lift a gallon a time for the next two weeks.
Gotta get back to making more time for my garden. Got Venus Flytraps from tissue culture that need transplanting.
I’ll trim in a couple weeks when it’s mostly dry, to see how many oz.... I’m guessing 4?

I lost a fish cause I let the Aquaponics thing go three weeks without a 10-%15 water change. A week to long.
I didn’t eat it, though Koi are some kind of Carp. I buried it. It was a 1 pound fish for sure. Still have 2.
Flushed for near two weeks.

Made some auto beans for when the sun comes out, but I didn’t get any males. Put pollen from a male of the mix this thread is about - Fire Angel reg on it. Yikes. Lots of inbreeding to fix that to be all auto.

It was this much times 2. A bit more than 2 quart sized jars and two cereal bowls of trim. I had nice photos of the 2 jars and I accidentally deleted. Sorry.
I never got around to buying a scale.
I’ve already smoked and vaped near half. It’s only really cured nice in the shake of the jar. Breaks apart fairly easy taking in and out of jar/paper bag. Taking forever to cure. And I run a dehumidifier near always. My fish tanks make the room extra humid regardless it seems.
The flowers are smaller and lighter than the other gals I’ve done from the same mix. They got near 1/3 the amount of light as my DIY Sunstrip from seed grows.

Good daytime medication. I wish it were more Indica.... hint hint
It tastes like Creamy orange smoothie and has chocolate and mint aftertaste.
Butterscotch?
Kinda pineapple ish
Dried papaya or guava?
I have almost no sense of smell so it’s all about the taste.
Not a thing I don’t like about it.

Also crossed this “Fire Angel” strain of mine to a male Grape Ape, waiting for those 3 gals to mature.
My breeding idea,
(Fire Angel X Grape Ape) X (Fire Angel X HPBDBX)
I bow down to the superiority of Purps. Guess I could have just tried harder to get a cut of that, I had once but messed making beans somehow. Grape Ape is my second choice.

I got some auto beans reg and figured I could make more beans crossing it to auto strawberry cheese fem and auto NL Fem and Purps auto fem... but none turned out male. In desperation I mixed male Fire Angel to these f autos, the reg being a Bluebeery x Lebanese Auto.
This is a whole can of worms. If I grow some of these regs X autos I gotta let the auto blooming ones mate only for a bunch of times until they all come out auto?
The Strawberry Cheese does taste great!!!
Make room for a few autos in the veg area?
Take them somewhere far away when they start to bloom to avoid unintended cross pollination?

Fire Angel is actually a bit of a creeper. I start noticing a body buzz first then when I’m done with smoking a bowl it hits in the head pretty hard. Yup this one was mostly up. A lot of cookies flavor, Thin Mints.
It’s strange though. I gave a bunch of these seeds to a new grower who did a couple runs in soil indoors with LED purple lights. I tried to explain the importance of drying each separate. He didn’t think his females looked any different and he dried and cured all in the same jar.
If his were as uniform as he claims I’m scratching my head why that was.
I had 3 males out of 5 recently. I rubbed and smelled the trunk and chose the very chocolate mint smelling one to do the business. This is about all I do now that I’m planning to inbreed heavily. I don’t keep the seeds from the sisters separated. So, I also roll the dice a lot.
I’ll close out with these pics of 5 new gals from the same F1 Fire Angel seeds. Really shows the variety.
