It’s backwards for me. Been gardening since I was a kid - it was a chore doled out by my mom.

“Oh, so you want to go to the movies this weekend? Tough shit kiddo, we need to plant tomatoes.”

Now I look back on that and realize how she also taught pest control, seed collecting and storing, harvesting, canning, planning for effective use of space, amending soil, etc. and this was in the 70’s and 80’s. Good times.

It didn’t seem like it at the time, but with the skill set I have now it sure helped when I started growing MJ - which I sincerely believe has helped me become a better person. It seems to clear away life’s bullshit ego driven personalities the way taking mushrooms will shrink your ego and peel your eyes open to the world - MJ just does this on a smaller scale.
