Week 13 Day 1 of Flowering

Fair enough dubi I wasn't really thinking straight when I added that reply 😔

One of the colas is almost entirely covered in amber pistils and looking through a 60x magnifier a moment ago, there are a few amber trichomes. I will harvest it perhaps in the next 2 days. Some of the lower colas look like they have a too few many while pistils still but the entire plant is very resinous and even these lower buds have mostly cloudy trichomes now.

Hello :)

Yes I am familiar with this concept but don't want the extra work through harvesting sequentially. This PxB is a bit harder to deal with but doing a full plant harvest worked really well with my Thai Chi, I don't mind having the lower buds being slightly less mature provided they are still close to maximum potency.

Just checked the plant and I can think it can hold out for another ~2-3 days before harvesting. By the way 3 branches are now starting to lean over because of their weight :D I think the long pistils and brown % mislead me but looking at the trichomes today even the most mature looking bud can handle a few more days without getting many amber trichomes.

Ended up harvesting 3 days ago - around week 14 day 3 as I found a small amount of bud rot - only lost about 5% of the plant so I am happy. I was not intending to hold out much longer prior to harvesting anyway. My fault for risking high RH for the benefit of my other tent with young plants.

Been too busy to post before now but here's some pics from when it was chopped. Still drying now of course.

Loving the pangi haze. Very incense and something else. Tastes and smells proper hazey. Racey strong high. Strong overpowering haze racey high, which reduces to a long lasting head high.

:D hehe. I like that you said strong racy a twice. enjoy.

this thread is epic. I see colas like old super silver haze. huge colas! and with racey high? I see future legend in here.

Continue to grow this hybrid. Going on 2 years now and hard to beat. This plant is at 52 days from first pistil. Hope to stretch it out to 75 days. Plant is 18" tall, 30" including container and will easily make many oz.

This cross came out 5 years ago next February. Everything with the Goddess in the line is truly superb. Ace has a knack for using many of the same parents and improving on the original.

Hi,

My Panama x bangi haze, in veg, at 3 weeks, in 4L pot. Very big and vigorous plant. Here she almost fills a 40x40cm tent. I will flip to flowering probably tomorrow, and cut the apex.

I will give her plenty of light, veg spectrum for at least one week to 10 days and after that, a pure flowering LED spectrum at high intensity.

She already shows preflowers.

should I repot her in a 11L pot now ? She will be in a 1x1m tent with 3 other sativa plants. If I transplant her now in a 11L or 14L I am afraid she will get too big. May be I could keep her in the 4L pot for one week or two to limit the size?

i am not used to sativa growing.

Dubi recommends a smaller pot size at flip if you want to control stretch. I choose not to do this as I want maximum yield. My current Pangi is in recycled bags which fit inside an old wire milk crate. These work great in tying down limbs. Probably 6-7 gallons of soil.

The plant in the above post will yield over 10 oz. When the center is opened up and it is splayed out it will be wider than it is tall. Just my way of controlling the beast.

No mater what you decide to do you will find this to be a spectacular hybrid. Smells can't be beat, taste and high are tops in my book.

Thanks Lotto,

if I had only one plant in the tent I would transplant her immediately to a 6-7 gallon pot but she will be with a Thai Chi and 2 other big plants in a square meter, so yes, I think i’m gonna control the size keeping her in the one gallon pot for the first weeks of 12/12, and go to 3 or 4 gallon when she starts budding.

i have read so many good things about pangi, can’t wait to see her flowering!

Trimmed and will come down next week at 69 days. I dry in cardboard boxes and these buds are so dense a good trim is needed.

Hi rcco :) Thanks for choosing Panama x Bangi Haze for your current indoor grow.
She looks fairly compact and manageable, i don't think you will have much problems to keep her size under control. Best wishes!

MAHA KALA i have the feeling you are going to love the outcome of Panama x Bangi Haze ;) Ticks all the boxes!
Happy harvests Subu Lotto and El Quijote :whee: Curious to hear your opinion after a good curing and intimate relationship
