the days progress so far.... headed back for more after my coffee.
split the room down the side long ways. now i have a 4' X 32' walkway down the one side in front of the door. this are is cut off from ductwork and vents so it will just be for racks, storage, tools etc.

the main room is now about 20x32 plus a 6x13 veg room. tomorrow the flood table goes in the veg room and plants will get put into bigger pots on drippers. hooking up CO2 and humidity control tonight. tomorrow will be building the frame for the lighting to hang as well as running the ductwork, power to the light controller and other shit. once that is done we will start building the PPK system and modular scrog trellis system. lots of cool ideas bouncing around in my head.

What strains you got going desert hydro? I really like the structure of the 3rd and 4th pic in post 64. I'm getting ready to order some beans but I'm having a hard time choosing which ones to go with. I'll probably go pick n mix and do a 4 strain multi then figure out which ones I like enough to keep. Probably be a disaster haha

Been through a few random cuts from people and none of them got shit on my pineapple express for frost and density, but it's a bit unsuited for vert - shorter bushy sort of a bitch...

the two you speak of are ethos collective quattro kush and harambe. they have some good shit. i got keepers from every pack.

as far as ordering seeds i say take a risk and order from one of the new breeders that are crossing straight FIRE. most of the places i have never heard of but the genetics they use are top notch and so are the offspring. i just picked up a pak of dog cage from mycotek. its a GG and chem cross. sure to kill. when this round of purple is fone i will be investing some money in seeds.

strains i am running are the two above as well as their citral flo, CGS chem d cookies(30.2% total tested) and ocean grown ninja fruit.

updates!

dont mind the leaf curl on the ninja fruit. my VPD was way off for the first few weeks. now that i got the humidifier up it should sort itself out.
its 85F, 66RH and 1100PPM in there. burning through a 5 gal propane tank every 6 days. does that sound right lol?

If you don't mind me asking, is that a legal grow? I feel like I read somewhere it wasn't, in which case mad props on a well set up room. Mad props either way tho really

100% legal in a med state by a licensed caregiver. thats why the plants are so damn big. limited plant count.

Ah right, thought it looked a bit too nice for some dodgy basement happenings. Wish I could rock big ass plants in a setup that clean. Much respect

building building and more building. system will be done after this weekend. veg system will be done tonight. its gonna be a top feed recirculating drip table. once they outgrow the 4x8 they will go into the system and get their own 1k to finish vegging. was totally thinking about ordering 18 315CMH off alibaba to veg in the system and then switch to hps when they are ready. maybe next time lol.

i have decided to complicate my feed regimen in an attempt to boost quality. my chem d cookies hit 30.2% with plain jacks. gonna see if some silica, microbes and liquid karma can boost up the terpenes/quality even more.

cruising along. dialing in the watering times as i was way overwatering them and choking out the roots. better late than never. hope to have it all figured out within the next week. VPD is now dead on. im at 84 degrees, 60rh and 1200 ppm co2. they should begin to drink more since the rh has been dialed back 6% and will continue to drop another 10 over the next four weeks.

the monstercropping SEVERELY stunted the flowering initiation. im at least two weeks behind schedule but they are finally filling in and perking up. again, better late than never lol. things are looking up.

ninja fruit reeks like fruit with a hint of skunk or BO. the harmabe is killin it as usual. wish i would have done the whole room of harambe and just four ninja fruit(one of each pheno until proven)

building another light, new nutrients. the clones have stalled the fuck out. roots looked like shit when i transplanted. hoping they recover soon. im seeing a little bit of new growth but not for how long theyve been in there under those LEDs. rh is 69, temps low 80s. ph and ppms on point. just set up a drip system to try and get things more regimented

Speed of green

Plant looks a little N heavy, dark green. single and three blade fans normal for that strain?

Not trying to rub salt, im sure you notice it.

are those new nutrients for the PPK's? what prompted the change?

Build out looks clean, those LED fixtures are awful pretty too.

good job!

i actually appreciate the input on the overfeeding. took me a while to realize what i was doing wrong.

been dialing back the ferts. i was going heavy since i was running CO2 but then noticed they didnt want or need it. that coupled with overwatering has messed me up a little bit. got it all sorted out i think.

the weird mutations were from being monster cropped accidentally in veg. timer led to an initiation of flower and then i caught it and reversed it. caused some weird ass growth structure and leaves.

changed the nutes because i was running out of jacks and wanted to try something similar but with a few additives. they are almost identical as far as ratios but this has silica, kelp aminos etc. heres the low down i did up

been debating on silica i have had some noticeable gains with it in the past. i guess i will see how it does for you first in the ppk

hey DH! nice setup! the nh4 is usually not a good idea in any form of hydro or automated soilless. but that is a low amount so it may work out ok. it could be responsible for the color change.

i'm looking hard at led's now.

nice work!
