Boggy Haze by annac

Got a thread goin over in annacs forum but I thot I'd start one here for the finish of these ladies.....want to get the best exposure for annac I can as he is a true gentleman and very desreving of respect and praise IMO......they are around 45 dazish I think, kinda lost track. The 3 headed one is the frostiest, and they all look to yield fairly well considering I damn near killed them letting them get rootbound. Smell varies from a pine and lemon to one that smells like a rotten orange, if you ever got a bag of oranges and had one in there that was bad, that's kinda the smell.One smells kind of peachy ( the 3 headed one ) none of them is particularly skunky.
The last pic is a few small popcorn buds that I trimmed to have one more thing to be thankful for on Thanksgiving.

BOG: thanks for stopping by. This is annacs description of Boggy Haze: The base strain comes from the Oxician Sativa. It was bred to BOGs Bogglegum, stabilized and bred again to Soma's Amnesia Haze and stabilized again.

Not sure which strain she takes after, as I've never grown out any of those 3,did grow out your Lifesaver a few years ago, man that was killer......But your virgins are having babies of their own now, must be awesome to see folks use your strains to create new strains......I'd be flattered as all get out.

p.s. kinda got flustered when I seen the Big Guy come thru....wanted to thank all of you for stopping by, and I'll put up weekly pics till they finish, 3 more weeks at least I'm thinking, so please drop back by.

Hi ya BOG thanks for the kudos ....
What most people don't know is that BOG and Soma were sitting at a pub several years ago after the first IC Cup and they were beamed up to the mothership. Clones were taken from them (yes they were probed) and they were sent back to finish their good deeds. I was released from the alien grow pods later that year. So it is safe to say that I am indeed the bastard child of BOG & Soma

The BOGgy Haze does have BOGs Bogglegum in it along with Soma's Amnesia Haze and the original mother is a Oaxacan sativa. All the seeds came from Gypsy and Seeds Direct except the oaxacan and I have been using oaxacan as a base strain since the days of old. At the time I got the Amnesia Haze, Gypsy was the only one who carried AH and they were hard to find. Soma didn't even cary them at that time. The BH was a 2 year project in creating. It has been around for a while. I lost allot of the BH seeds in a bad deal at another seedbank so I yanked them from the market. I am in the middle of a BH grow now but I did not get any males that was decent of F2s so I crossed it with a male Mind Boggle. (yet another tribute to BOG) which has BOG's Lifesaver in it. Why all the tributes? To me it is the only truthful way in giving out the due respect that the breeder deserves when another breeder uses their strains. I will tell you right out front what my strains consist of and there is no hiding behind a different name.
To have other breeders such as BOG to be as good friends is much more important to me than ripping off their strains and trying to make a living at someones elses expense. I looked and tried many different strains before I decided what to use....flo, white widow and many more were turned away and I always found BOGs strains to be the best medicinal/recreational combo that I still to this day have ever seen. If you have never tried BOGs strains then all I can say is that you are missing out on some awsome genetics.
I have a great feeling for BOG and the IC Cup this time around. This is the year of the BOG Beaver

I bet ya that BOG that he has been growing for over 30+ years now and I have been growing since 78 and we will both tell you that every grow is still a learning experience. This last BH hydro grow I learned not to use recycled grow rocks on my Ebb&Flo system....DUHLOL. If it wern't for ambre helping me out then I probably would of lost them but she gave me the solution. We are never to old or to wise to seek help from others. When we do become better than everyone else then we are no help to anyone else.
It is the collective information of everyones talents and along with the combination of good friends here at IC is what makes this forum above all others.

it is a little scary when the big boys jump in but we both know that BOG is on our side and that makes it soooo much easier not to be intimidated. Please don't sell yourself short on your growing skills. You are hanging with the big boys now and they expect nothing less than what you have already proven for yourself. no pressures here Did you see the Pics I was using now under "annaC Strains" look the Boggy Haze Strain. Those arn't my photos, they are yours and I am very proud of them.

The BHxMB are in the creation state as we speak (the current mind boggle & Boggy Haze threads I have going under the Seed Bay Support forum under annaC Seeds.) once they are finished I will test grow them immediatly. I will also send a few packs to DG to get some test grows started (according to IC Mag's policies) after all the testing is in and they are deemed worthy of the Seed Bay customers then they will be released.

Poppa Mind Boggle. I used only one male and I have to be certain that it is good. The only way to make sure the genetic pool did not reverse is to test them before I let them go. I think we will be OK but we never know.

Some folks say to take a sample at each stage of trich ripening to see where you like it next time you grow it. I think that's a hell of an idea.....want y'all to know this has nothing to do with the fact that we're out of bud ok? ok.

These trichs are a few clear, most cloudy, an amber here and there...........NOT making finger hash is not an option after handling these budz.....extremely sticky and resin coated...........

As tempting as those buds look, i still have a month befor I can get my UBF grow on from annaC. Mountaindew, those buds are something.An hash you say, I like choices like that. Grow on brother.

.I ditto that as he is being under rated right now, but the proof is in the pudding (seeds) as more people will start to see and tastes for them selves.

Well, another week goes by. Think they are about there. Losing my ballast for 10 days and getting them rootbound really hurt yield, but the potential was there I think. Going to have several decent colas and lots of smaller budz, so I'm happy. One pheno there I think will go another 2-3, the rest will go in another 7 days. Well, the tops anyway, seeded the lower budsites so I gotta let em mature before I harvest them. Quick question, if I throw em back into veg lighting schedule, it won't hurt seed development will it? never made seeds on purpose before y'all.crossed em with TRC Karen pollen, why? cause it was the only male pollen I had LOL. And it should be interesting trying to identify which is which when I get around to ever growing them. Rainy day seeds y'all.

ok, harvest time, but before we chop we need some munchies for afterwards, this is katsmeows hamnswiss cheese loaf, before it goes into the oven for baking

well, I said they would probably be done this week, and here are a few shots of some buds during and after trim...





notice I don't trim all the leaf off, I really don't mind leaving some on, it's all covered with trichs anyway, and I don't have enough trim yet to warrant a batch of bubble hash yet so....

had 2 phenos on the Boggy Haze, this one is my favorite...smells really funky, sour, almost tangerine like....

and the last one....had to make finger hash right after I got done trimming....getting pretty blazed right now

then again I may try making some iso oil...

That ham n cheese loaf looks great! Those buds look like they are about as nasty sticky as the mindboggle x nycd. I swear my hands looked like I was working on my truck after i finished trimming everything! Looks like a very merry xmas is just arround the corner!
