100% all coco hempy

Has anyone done a hempy bucket with 100% coCo all the way through? So basically no perlite or hydroton.

if you read hempy thread it answers your question. It gets to soggy.

I don't think this is correct. The original creator now uses coco and I've read dozens of successful coco-hempy threads. You don't fill the reservoir with coco, you still use perlite etc for that...

I have been growing in 1 gallon buckets using all coco for several years now and I have a hole drilled near the bottom of each one about an inch off the ground. I originally was going to use Perlite and said screw it. Never have a problem. The hole prevents over-watering when you first start doing it but eventually you just pick 'em up and know how much they need. I rarely see water dribbling on the floor.
