"short day dichotomous resin producing plants" guess no one remembers the AN medical forums, or big mikes tips to "growing the biggest, baddest buds on the planet" or AN's show Urban Grower featuring Remo??? What about weeds? How's about pineapple express?how about the AN party in Vancouver when max yield wouldn't let them exhibit because they smoked the whole show out w Remo & I rolling a lb up? How about the SF max yield party at mezzanine in SF where we hung 2 CAN 150's to the ceiling and I supplied a 1/2lb that I personally rolled of SFV-OG and passed out joints to over 300 participents??

Let me ask you this: if you were a hydroponic tomato farmer or say a rose producer, would you use AN??? Those would be some expensive tomatoes!

Once again this has still become a pissing contest and the bashing hasnt stopped how many claims does one make before it becomes bashing ?? this thread started out good but again now its just a place to bash AN ......I wont name any names but we all know whats going on here its obvious and to me many claims become trolling and bashing ...I am done with this thread it will get worse it always does its funny to me and it has no real purpose ......ST

Their advertising is just that, designed to sell more product.

I have used their Conny line and it grew some fantastic plants with great resin content but I can get close to the same results with GH basic 3 part. I used their cloning gel and it sucked but the beneficials like Pirahna and Tarantula were great with noticeable effects. I think that is all comes down to what works for you, and for that matter some of the best biggest buds I have ever grown came from using Miracle Grow for Tomatoes! :canabis:

Thats the whole purpose of this thread, to keep all the piss in one spot, rather than pissing in threads about AN in which people ask legit questions.
Bash away or stand up for AN, as long as it does not violate #4 of the TOU.
When I see a voilation, that post WILL get deleted.

Their ph products where not introduced till quite a bit later I think it was in 2006. There were ph up/down products from Grotek that were as strong/stronger then the AN ph long before AN had them.

They're also gonna be discontinuing the ph line.

ST: Why so bent? Can't you be a good opposition and tell us all what makes YOU like them so much? Not trying to insult you at all. I'm out to lay down the facts that AN is an unscrupulous bunch of profiteers based on marketing hype. Barricade was a great product but the ruined it. Big bud was awesome, but they ruined that too. Their beneficials were goodfor soil/less mixes, but you can't run it in most substrates or aero apps. Besides they added weight to the can by tossing in urea pellets. Sensizym is crap, doodoo juice is reformulated and costs 45% more than it initially debuted. 3% humics and fulvics is a discrace. 2 part that is really a 4 part, and everything else is a copy of some other co'S products, usually by the cheapest Chinese lab they can find. When a forklift, a 250 gallon tote upside down held to the forklift w some tie downs and a hand pump dispenser wrapped in clear poly constitutes a bottling plant, too many reformulations of both their products and their feed charts to even remember,

First off years ago maybe 4-5 years ago I sent in a testimony to AN and recieved a bucket I mean a huge bucket of free big-bud powder that I still use today didnt pay anything for it since I have tried with many companies out of curiousity to get free samples of thier products none of them ever returned my emails or sent me anything one time about a year ago I got what I thought was a bad bottle of sensizym....talked to AN on the phone they not only sent me another bottle of sensizym but also sent me a sample of bud-blood and pirahna as far as costs of thier nutes go well if you really look deep in to it you will see on some of thier more expensive nutes you use quite less then the other manafacturers same product for cheaper but doesnt last as long ...as for the ph with AN I have to hardly never even use any PH adjustments and when I do adjust my ph it stays in that respectable range until I have to feed again which is usually much longer then the other nutes I have tried and KB was dead on about thier PH up-n-down very little cause its so concentrated as far as the advertising goes and bogus claims so to speak everyone all nutes advertise ..all be it maybe not on as big of a scale as AN but hey its thier money and if they wanna make those claims or boost thier nutes they have the right bogus claims and advertising if you know anything about business is part of the game one way or another they all do it ...hell ford always states that thier the best selling truck in Tx when in fact more chevy trucks here then ford but its not hurting ford's sales by no means and to knowledegable consumer thier gonna buy the truck they want regardless most of them have already done thier homework ...as for the costs of AN well if you so worried about money perhaps this isnt the field you should be in or perhaps a miracle grow food suits you well ...but that doesnt mean that the more expensive one is any less of a product cause you cant or wont afford to buy it ....once again its choice we all have that choice

I have always disliked their ridiculous claims and marketing...Of course, when I was just learning, the Hydro store told me that AN was the best ($$$ for them!). I used the whole 2+ program for 3 runs and then slowly started to use less and less of their products. I had great results with it but I also have great results with Pure Blend Pro,Liquid Karma, Sweet, and Hygrozyme. Less products and the same results as far as I'm concerned. It was really a PITA to have to open 10 or 15 bottles and take measurements each week. Now, if I use AN, it's Big Bud powder, Overdrive, PH up/down...That's it, and toohighmf you are really making me think twice about using them!... I'm currently looking for Big Bud and Overdrive substitutes. So to keep this thread on track I will finish with: AN is overpriced and every product they sell can be bought from a different company for a cheaper price (and will likely work the same or better...less watered down! hah). Great marketing on the show WEEDS and I think they are in a movie or two also. They definitely know how to get their name out there. :joint:

why are you insulted by my posts? How do they personally offend you? Unless you have some stake in the company, I see no reason to be offended. Yes. I am upset with AN for personal reasons, and I am upset at them for their slimy business tactics. I get more upset everytime a new AN snake oil product hits the market and profits from some hyped "generalized" strain of cannabis by using it in a product name. This only gives the hydro industry a black eye. Since I worked for a distributor of AN, I can't get a job with a "legit" distributor. Fuck em! Every time I see an AN thread, I'm gonna bash em as hard as I possibly can. I figure for every person I knock off the AN boat, the more people will thank me and at the same time, I put dollars in companies more deserving of it... When people see what they can do with $40 of stuff vs $400, they all eventually see the light...

all this a.n bashing is kinda funny im getting 2plus from a 1000kw im using conni and about half the whole 2plus line and my room is far from perfect with no co2 and using tap water.i see a bunch of other growers getting the same results on internet vids.so to me all this a.n bashing is hype

I have no stake in any company thats the point im making is I have never worked for a nute company ...as you have and if I stopped using every companys product that was slimmy all companies have thier own snake oils thats all that most additives are ....to single it out to one tho is very bias ..especially since that one is the one i worked for and perhaps you can change others minds on buying thier products good luck with that ...once again I wont argue with you on the $40 dollar stuff growing good bud cause I have done it but it doesnt make the expensive well hyped product any less effective ..you change some peoples minds on products ..but its a shame if they have never tried them before they or you influence thier decision ....cause for me when I like something or want it I go and get it and use it and if I like it nothing noone or anybody says is gonna change it .........to me what gives the hydro industry a black eye also are the ones that sell you a product knowing your gonna grow pot with it and never says thier stuff is used for that when they know it is ...thats hypocriticial at best lets face it most people that grow arent growing tomatoes or celery ......only means that company wants the money you give them and pretends its used for other things ....stand up ..make a stand if your gonna take the money then realize where the money is coming from rather its called sweet or sweet leaf (bud-candy) companys still make money and its used for same thing ...........ST

I like AN too but I used conni before and it didnt give me any better results then the sensi and GMB ......

not insulted by your post but insulted by the fact that sensizyme isnt crap ..I have used 3 different enzyme products cannazyme hygrozyme and sensizyme take your pick thier all the same really I seen no difference from one to the other .....but its not crap if you like using enzymes then pick one that makes them all crap ..and for me it works well........ST

I could get Jam babies and get 2lb+/1000W too but then it'll be better as ass wipe then as a smokable product.
