Triacontanol exerts its growth stimulating effects at a PH of 7 or more PH 8-9 being found optimum.

Will this hold true regardless of the solvent type and or things added to the mixture, such as calcium, surfactants ect.?

dizzlekush says: Yes with calcium, but what about the rest BAP,BRASS,ect.?

Has anyone tried Triacontanol-calcium nitrate, methanol solution yet?

for me the problem is to solve it correctly in methanol or aceton. boiling these stuff is very dangerous.... dont know about methanol, but i dissolved 200mg tria in 1l aceton. after that i tried to add some cacl to the tria/aceton and it didnt disolve...

ph 8 sounds about right, and dont forget the calcium ... :
is reported to have found additional requirements such as a solution at a pH of 8 or higher and the presence of metal ions such as calcium in the triacontanol solution.

I will water down my my calcium spray to 50% of its original strenght and add up to 1ppm tria, then checking ph and if below of 7 will use ph+.
will take a while to get some data .. but will try to update here about results.

Hey guys I've been experimenting with using dm saturator instead of poly sorb it seems to dissolve a lot quicker in saturator anyone else tried it.....it just made sense as saturator is for spraying with lights on
