is it pointless to use great white without molasses?

Molasses feeds the microbes in the Great White.

Brewing organic tea means breeding lots and lots of microbes. Molasses is a nice, dense source of carbs for them. They eat, they get big, they divide. Repeat exponentially for a few hours and you've got yourself a lot of free microbes, from a very little bit of Great White.

Is it pointless not to use it? Probably. Without a rich source of food they're likely to just eat each other. Or sit around wishing they had a pizza. Or something equally lame.

Hi illicit, does it say unsulphured on the label anywhere? That could be what they mean by "crude" but I'm not sure. It probably is.

Sulfur is used as a preservative (among other things) and inhibits the growth of microbes.

So you use coco chemical nutrients in addition to the tea to get these results?

Wow, i always kinda read and was told that the chemical nutes will kill the beneficials , thats why you steer clear of using chemicals in organic soil growing.

I normally do organics, but now have switched to coco, i would love to still brew tea for the girls, i just havent because i'm using House and garden coco nutes.

Not full on porn, more like soft core!!

Not full on porn, more like soft core!!

Had some roots poking out of my pots, then feed them a tea yesterday and walked into my room today to find allot of roots poking out of the pots!! :woohoo:

Do you think opening up a smart pot(mine has velcro) would hurt the roots and plant considering roots are coming threw the pots and opening them up could tear the roots?
