pH and Nutrient Availability Question

Hi,

For the nutrients that become more available to plants at low pH, such as Fe, is a soil pH of 6-6.5 going to cause problems for the plant?

My question is would once-off acute low pH irrigations free up some of this to the plant? Would this be more detrimental than beneficial? Could a leech afterwards help to correct this, and could this be done a few times per grow cycle to just help increase access to some of these lower pH minerals? Thanks and sorry if this is a stupid question.

First things first.. Iron stops beeing available to the plant at ph higher than 8, so maybe the problem that you are seeing that made you ask this is not Fe deficiency.
To correct this , if it is, use a foliar spray of Fe!

If you already have a ph6.5 and growing in peat or coco, immediately lower to 5.5, eventually flush media at this operation.

I have never heard of Iron phytotoxicity...
