Why does everyone hate McDonalds?

I'm just sitting here enjoying my double big mac and thinking to myself, shit, where did it all start?

I hear the most ridiculous shit that everyone just believes without bothering to look into it.

McDonalds doesn't;

Use pink slime, Mythbuster Grant did a tour of their factory.

Use horse meat, or other fake meat, There is no registered company anywhere in the world called "100% Pure Beef".

Mash potatoes and form them into fries, or add things to their "mashed up fries". Again, Mythbuster Grant put this to rest.

How come Burger King has never come under fire? Wendy's? A&W? Any other burger chain?

So what's the McDonalds hate all about? aside from the obvious eating too much fast food.

wendy kicks ronalds ass.....yeehaw... I worked for em mcdonalds as a kid for 3 hours...got questioned about eating a free pickle after loading the trays...told manager to fuck off you don't even give us discounts ...never worked fast food again and was inspired to do college...I used to love a&w rootbeer at the place...mmmmmm rootbeer

Wendy's really is good, but I find their burgers often drip with grease and leave giant puddles of it.

Well that's a new one to me.

I gotta tell ya though, if you pull a patty of a McD's burger, and taste it side by side with some plain ol' ground beef you'd be hard pressed to find a real taste difference.

All scientific claims aside... Any thing I put into my mouth that makes me have explosive diahrea an hour later has to have something wrong with it.
That being said I rarely eat fast food any ways. I can cook better meals myself.

It´s strange, I am adicted to Mc Donalds. I eat there maybe 1 o 2 times a year, but before my inner eye, I often got the simple Cheeseburger.

Moisture content in the food itself is causes this.

Find the right balance of moisture and food will last a pretty long time.

Had anyone tried this with a BK burger?

mcdonalds is not objectively better or worse than any of the other chain fast-food places. It is all just cheap food made with low-quality ingredients. There is a time for that, i.e. if you are in a rush, very hungry, and there are no better options. Eating McDonalds or any fast food once or twice a month will not harm you.

My issue is with the proliferation of fast-food restaurants, like McDonalds, that offer only cheap low-nutrion food, particularly in areas where high-quality food is almost impossible to get. Poor areas and inner-city neighborhoods often have very few options for nutrient-dense, organic, fresh foods. Even most chain grocery stores are full of GMO products. This is one of the main causes of the obesity and diabetes epidemics that are sweeping America.

My biggest issue with McDonalds is the amount of salt they use in their food. But Checkers and all the rest do it too. The fries they use come from the same supplier that supplies fries to most of the other chains. The only difference is the oils used for final cooking.

I prefer the taste of Hardees/Carls jr. burgers, but they use a shit ton of salt too. Not really much difference in the ingredients that all the chains use.

Then there is Taco Bell. I love it, but it don't love me. Drain-o for the human body right there. Not sure what they put in it, but it cleans my pipes like nothing else, and I have a pretty strong constitution.

^^^ That article makes sense, but I disagree on one point. I've seen plenty of animals munch on micky deez. Cats, dogs, bears, raccoon... It tastes good... just not good for you lol

Always so much shame after McDonalds, it's literally the roadside hooker or shameful porn-fest of the food world. You're all amped and nervous when ordering, wondering if the people ringing you up are going to judge you. Then, you roll into a parking-lot spot and the next thing you know you're covered in ketchup and fries with burger wrappers surrounding you like a werewolf waking up in human form next to a dead deer.
