Always like looking at your guy's grow logs and seeing the progression of different strains and setups, so I figured I'd share the little project I got going in my apartment right now.

Got 4 plants right now going in four 7 gallon airpots filled with a soilless coco mix. About 350w watts of LED over 9sqft. A 3000k 65w HLG QB, 150w 4000k SolSheet, and a 135w VIPAR blurple.

Current grow is with 3 feminized Durban Poison seeds, and 1 regular outdoor bagseed from a nice batch I got a few years ago.

I started these a few weeks ago, the regular is the biggest one and about a week older than the others. I originally had the older bagseed plant in a smaller pot but transplanted it to a 7 gallon when one of the four Durban girls I originally popped didn't survive.

Obviously hoping that the big plant from old bagseed is a male and I can get me some cool beans to play with.

I've heard this Durban runs in the 12-14 week range typically, but no idea on the other plant. It was from a big batch of outdoor sativa so I imagine it's probably at least 8-10 weeks if not longer.

Slowly mulching out the pots with cooked up eggshells. Also have some anti-bugger companion plants growing in a couple of the pots. Like to keep my grows 100% organic. I'll update with some pics in a few weeks when the Durban Poison girls start making some serious progress. Looks like one of them is growing quite a bit quicker than the other two. Hopefully some interesting phenos will show up.

Howdy yall. This is only my second full from-seed grow with this lighting so I'm still getting used to all the nuances. Been a MH/HPS kinda guy for the first decade of my growing and only recently converted to LED.

The baking pan looking light is the SolSheet 150w and it's just three rows of hard strip LEDs in a metal and acrylic housing to keep it safe. Got a little mini PC style fan in the top of it to keep it cool. Stays very low temp and produces a ton of really nicely colored natural looking light. Been pretty happy with it so far.

The square light is the HLG 65w Quantum Board that has a little attached driver on top of it. Gets hot but also produces an insane amount of light for only pulling 65 watts. Probably gonna try and upgrade to a 100 or 150w QB at some point in the future. Really like that they don't need a housing or a fan.

The rectangular white light is the Viparspectra 300 (pulls 130 watts). Dimmable light in a housing with a mix of different LEDs. Not the best light by any means but it was super cheap and the dimmable blurple bulbs are nice to have during germination and veg.

Here's a few pics of the first grow I did with these lights. A couple of feminized Bubba Kush that didn't yield all that great and got a little burned from my too-hot soilless mix but still produced some absolutely top notch quality. First four or five times I smoked it I was literally so goddamn high that I was paralyzed in my chair for several hours. As in couldn't even turn my head, all I could do was breathe and blink. It was actually scary because I have a high tolerance and never get physical effects that powerful from smoke I buy.

Do you feel that LED produces comparable bud quality to HID in that size tent? I'm sure the heat reduction is very nice in a smaller space like that.

Yeah less heat is always nice. LED is definitely capable of producing very high quality bud under the right conditions. I think it takes a little more planning and investment compared to a similar sized HID grow, but in my estimation average LED grow quality is at least as good as good as the average HID if not better.

Happy Monday folks. Been about a week since I took pics so I thought I'd give you mates a little update. My bagseed plant is looking fantastic, debating whether or not I'm gonna top it or just stick to some LST.

The Durban Poison plants are looking good but still small. One of the phenos has deformed looking leaves/weird genetic stuff going on but is still healthy and growing much faster than the other two. The two small DP plants look awesome except for their size. Very symmetrical and clean looking, just disappointed with how slow they are growing compared to the mutant pheno.

I'm assuming a combination of cold temps at night and high nutrient levels in the soil are what's been keeping them small. I heard somewhere that DP really doesn't like cold temps and that anything under 50f can kill them. Only gets down to maybe 60-65f in my tent at night but still probably not ideal for a landrace style sativa. Probably gonna give these girls another week to veg and then flip to 12/12. They'll have plenty of time to grow taller during a 3+ month flowering period.

Close goats! It's dill, cilantro and catnip. Combined with some cannabis it can make for a very fragrant garden!

That's pretty neat. Most people seem to want to cull any extra plants growing near their MJ so nutrients aren't robbed from their girls. Yours are healthy and look great.

Hi mates, thought I'd give yall a little update. Plants are doing well except for the runt that seems to be suffering from sort of deficiency/nute lockout thing going on. The companion plants in that pot don't seem to be growing as well either. I have to imagine something is wrong with the mix but it's nearly identical to the other 3 pots. I'm pretty clueless at this point so just going to leave it alone and hope it grows out of it. Still on 24/0 schedule which is good because the LEDs can at least keep the tent warm at night. Gonna give these babies a few more days of vegging and I'll do another pic update after I flip to 12/12.
