A few of my strains were pollinated a while back by a Purple Kush x Dr Kevorkian male a while back... Golden Goat, Las Vegas Lemon Skunk, Dennis Hopper Kush, Purple Diesel, and an OG.
So far, 1/2 beans from the hopper were 1:1 thc:cbd, testing about 5.5%:5.5% ....Great medicinal strain, offering some nice pain relief with almost no stone.
The Las Vegas Lemon Skunk cross aka Dr. Death Skunk is 3/3 on producing CBD rich strains, with all 3 beans testing between 7-8% THC and 7-8%CBD.
So far just 1 bean grown out on the Golden Goat cross aka Dr. Death Goat, that one didn't test with a significant amount of CBDs, right around 1% with like 16% thc. Some nice smoke, beautiful colors, but all and all nothing too special, so I'll be searching for different phenos of this one...hopefully identifying more that are rich in CBDs.
The OG that was pollinated was nothing special, but I'm gonna give er' a run anyways just to see what I get.
The Purple Diesel that was pollinated was just loaded with trichs, and a strong diesel smell, but she grew way too airy for me so I got rid of her. It'll be interesting to see what comes from this cross.
And of course the Sour Diesel, unlike any other that I've smelled or smoked, almost a disgusting smell its so sour....
The story behind this one... a buddy of mine had been living in KC like 8 years ago and picked up 3 ounces of the best Sour D he has ever had. Him being from CO, this made him realize it was something special. He found 1 bean out of the 3 zips, put it in a straw and melted the ends together, stashed er' away for safe keeping.
Anyways, we ended up here in the same medical state, and he popped the bean...turns out it was a female.
She was chopped at 8-8 1/2 weeks and grown with just H&G to see how well it would grow. This plant smashed everything in my garden, testing 23+% cannabinoids. So yea the Sour D was sick for a bit, but now she's fully recovered and ready to bloom...
