The plants are looking 1000x better after the pest applications.
Good luck out there!
Yes they do, green leaves nearly without white spots:). But this summer is evil regarding dryness in my area ... Spidermites, Cicades and others are showing persistence. Yesterday I´ve recognised many new perforations on the great leaves. The Canna plants are the best norished/watered plants far and wide in the forest glade and therefor an attraction for biting insects.

pictures taken 2022-07-21. Hot weather, drought. Mites have gone. The plants are fine. I am wondering how to prepare the plants best before 2,5 weeks holiday. The lack of water will be big. Bubba x PCK tends to show "hanging down leaves" after a few days without water. I am thinking about extra Kali-Magnesia fertilizer and much much water before. What do you think?

Both plants are healthy. Plant one has reached a height 2,1m (christmas tree shape) and plant 1,7m (bushy). Flowering goes on with medium speed. Resin production has started. Plant 1 has fruity-hashy-earthy smells. Plant 2 has berry fruity smells.

A pleasure to cultivate such a big framed Hash plant. Smells are at the moment on the earthy/spicy side. Several very rainy days in row with out any sign of mold.

...very good looking plants FletchF.Fletch. Not that large buds, but resinous and dense. How are the smells?

Hi @paisajedehierba , your plants look Great. The smells are amazing and each plant has a different combination. Plenty of the PCK fruity scents, plus some spice, coffee, sharp, caramel, pistachio; one has a perfumed floral smell that reminds me of a cross I made ages ago from Amazing Haze x Purple Power Plant. In that cross, certain Lilac colored plants had an overpowering flowery perfume scent. Smelling that on the Bubba x PCK really sent me back.

many rainy days, no mold, plant 1 shows starts getting purple. Two frosty ladies still have to go for while.

Thanks guys :tiphat: @FletchF.Fletch a pleasure to know you are enjoying growing Bubba Kush x PCK so much.
It really produce easy to grow, squat, chunky hashplant plants, and you are right, the very appealing terpene profiles of Bubba Kush and Purple PCK 2002 blend in a unique way in each plant, allowing lots of interesting and desirable recombinations.

Your outdoors Bubba Kush x PCK are looking great as well paisajedehierba :)
Glad they are not getting botrytis despite the rainy days (y)

Plant 1 has the Afghan Bubba leaf and growing structure, while at the end of flowering she is getting the unmistakable PCK colors (most probably more or less the terps too). Plant 2 structure and development is more similar to Green PCK expressions.

Thank you for clarification about the phenotypic expressions Dubi! Green PCK ... this encourages me to try my luck with PCK next outdoor season. If I am right, the green PCK expressions are little bit higher yielding and stronger expressions. Perhaps this translates into BK x PCK plant 2. Regarding BK x PCK plant 1 (the purpeling one) you are right. The fruity PCK smells are increasing.

Beautiful plants FletchFFletch! can you please tell me more about the relatioship between moon shifts and harvest time?

Thanks @sativaman514 !

I've been using the Llewellyn Moon Sign Book (published since 1905) since the 90s. Zodiac Signs correspond to the Moon's movement as it Waxes (gets bigger approaching Full Moon) and Wanes (gets smaller as it fades to New Moon). The Waxing time is used for Sprouting, Cuttings, Feeding. Waning Moon is time to Harvest, Destroy Pests, Prune to slow growth. Days cycle through each Zodiac Sign roughly 3 days per. The Zodiac Signs are classified as Fruitful or Barren. Fruitful days are akin to Waxing, and Barren days match up with Waning Moon. So, ideal time to plant is during Waxing Moon (1st & 2nd Quarter) under a Fruitful Sign. Ideal time for Harvesting is during Waning Moon under a Barren Sign. This evening, the Moon will be Full, just beginning Waning while shifting into the Sign of Aries. Barren Sign and Waning Moon, perfect for Chopping.

Seeds germinate better, and Buds dry and Cure more evenly (for me) when things are timed by the Moon. If nothing else, it creates a map for Timing.
