2/20/2010 update
So here is the rundown...
Done this a few times before, I am new to this site and this is my first time going to Coco. After reading libraries of info posted by the cheifs' in here I've decided to get some pics up and welcome all advice...I've thrown out the hydroton, they are bastards to clean and the coco just can't be any easier. Im in cali, prop 215 compliant
I've started with 50 Blue Dream Clones all super healthy (from harborside). After my last harvest I am in with love this strain, It has massive buds that fall over if not supported and it has the qualtity of any other med strain.
EDIT: My Room is 16ft by 14ft, entirely light and air sealed of course. My artifical sun is made up of 4 x 1000watt Quantum Digital 240V Ballast with Hortilux Bulbs + 1 x 600watt lumatek, all air cooled through hydrofarm reflectors with one 8" fan, room has CO2 enrichment via CAP-PPM3 + lp burner, also have intake and exhaust fans to scrub room when humidity increases. Cooled using 24,000 BTU ductless minisplit A/C, humidity is controlled by Sante-Fe Classic PHAT dehumidifier.
This time around i have thrown out the Advanced Nutes.
Im using Rezdog's Recipe, so far im using 1/2 strength, just thrown in bcuzz root juice and calmag.
The clones are exploding in growth, i planted into dixie cups of ff light warrior 2 weeks ago. 90% of them are rootbound so i know it is time to transplant. My camera sucks so i can get much of the root porn but they all look amazing. I going to plant 45 of them into the main pots this weekend. they will veg under the hps' for one more week then bloom into beauties . R/O water ph 5.8, 600ppm right now.
The big pots they are going into are 4 gallon of 70% sunshine just coir with 30% perlite. I will start with handwatering but will switch to automatic drip to waste eventually.
I am doing sort of a modified scrog, the blue dream get very tall with huge lanky buds and i need the scrog to hold the branches from bending. They naturally strech enough for me and i will not be topping them in anyway b/c they like branching already.
Enough b/s, Here's the pics
