First time collecting pollen. I tried to hold a paper plate with a u shaped notch around the stalk while I lightly disturbed the pollen sacks, but the pollen was so small it went airborne immediately. My second attemp on the same plant came after I let the tops cure like I would my flower. This was much easier... I had pollen sacks explode during cure and drop it right onto the plate. Then I just scrape up my yellow blow.

I've managed to harvest and store pollen from 4 males now. This is good news because the females produced mediocre weight and good quality headstash and Im excited to see what kind of seeds they will produce down the road.
We harvested the 3 plants I gave to a friend to bud out, and it was a success. One 15 gal produced 5 oz dry and the other produced 6 oz dry of top quality, the 3rd in 5 gallons produced 2 oz dry.
My half was 6.5 oz for vegging them 4 months in my greenhouse... Cost around $100 for soil and fabric pots.

These girls were left in 2 gallon pots for 4 months and under only 200 watts led and only sunlight some days. They required lots of larf and popcorn lower branches cut off and proper care and now they are up potted and scrogged and flipped into bud under 400watts metal halide. Will continue to tuck the canopy through stretch to get sea of green.
Using subcool super soil and a small amount of compost I made.

Dropped some leaves defoliated again under canopy and bent some branches. Removed from scrog and they are holding their shape. Kinda slow getting into bud.
...are you still off-grid with this grow?
