I use Fish Emulsion or urine in veg, mixing with PBP bloom adding DNF booster or PK13-14 in bloom. I'll sometimes add some Epsom salt to the mix for some Mg. It may not be totally organic, I'm not sure if the PK is, they call the ingredients pure & PBP is debatable for some. Using these or similar nutes with the triple mixes frees up me having to pH at all. Yes the nutes help regulate the pH.
On the linked grow he's fed, he's fed some more than stopped feeding ~ Pro-Mix has a tendency to lock up when this occurs, it's written in my thread. I feed/leech every watering with my tap water than leech my soil the last week with only the final watering plain tap. That's a 10-25% nute solution. I don't flush PM I leech only, it works better than flushing. There's always an exception but the rule is no flush or you'll leave the girls very hungry.
Tainted water can mess with the mix. That would be a tainted water issue. You can screw the pH up if you're fighting it but that's not a run out of lime pH issue. You would need to find out why it's getting messed up & trouble shoot the cause not the symptoms. The poster of the link says im pretty sure its just lock out from bad ph I'd say he's whacked out the pH by over/under feeding, bad pH is the result not the cause. You can't just say I'll add lime next round & continue with what they were doing. Over under feeding will still happen & mess with the grow.
Sunshine #1-4 mixes are the same as BX & HP, they're called Triple Mixes. Landscapers use it on lawns here. My hydro store carries PM HP as does my local nursery but for double the price.
