Anybody remember buying a bag of bugler tobacco with the included pack of papers, and tossing the tobacco? Cheaper than a pack of papers.

Telephone book page.

Or a beer can - done that far too many times.

Modianos are professional rolling papers.

I love the 1.0 ungummed but haven't seen them around in a long time.

I used to roll with them exclusively twenty years ago.

I do not want to start a new thread. What are the best papers these days. I have not rolled since 1980"s, when Club by S.D. Modiano were the best. Left no ash.

^^ I like the RAW organic papers. Gizeh are good for a rice paper.

The Club papers were great because they had no glue and left no ash.

I used Orange Zig Zags for many years. I received a sample pack of Elements in an order of Zig Zags a few years ago and have been very happy with Elements ever since.

Gosh, I remember as a teenager there was only 4 kinds of paper available..

Regular white Zig-Zags and ZZ wheatstraw in the orange pack..
They were 5 cents a pack...

if you wanted to go cheap, you could get OCB's or Top papers for 4 cents..

By 1972 there was all kinds of stupid papers available.
I hated it when someone rolled a J in those stupid Stawberry papers..
Or even worse, the guys who glued two EZ wider papers together, 'cause they were too uncoordinated to roll a simple J....
So you got to smoke a joint with 4 layers of paper around it...

damn, I'm getting old and cranky....

..

^^ Yeah, those strawberry ones, hehe. I think there were other flavored papers as well. Not a great smoke. I never even thought about buying anything like that. I used the thinnest papers I could find. Zig Zag regular as I recall.

I've been using ToP papers exclusively since 1972, they hit the sweet spot and the price is right.

Do you think some people will start using cigar holders so they can share a joint with strangers, without worrying about germs ?

Don't know how you do it, CG. Too thick for me. I had a nickname for TOPS. I called it TREE BARK. I'm using RAW cones now. Hate having to roll doobies.

a buddys dad bought canned tobacco and they came with a ton of packs of papers....
TOP and American Spirit If I recall correctly.

we totally hijacked the OPs original intent, but, man, you all brought back some memories.

moved away from papers over the years.
from old school 8 chamber Graffix bongs to the newer glass/ice catcher types
I like the volcano type vaporizers but dont fancy sucking on a bag

It always seemed to me the strawberry papers were kinda weak. Might have been all the stems in the cheap mex brickweed. Remember those little rolling machines?

I like the raw tubes for the little extension.
