7-year-old girl catches (allegedly) Alaska's biggest pike. (Though I seriously doubt this is the record.. In fact, I'd bet on that).

(*I don't fish for pike, but this was pretty cool).

If I had to guess, I'd say that's either Volkmar or George Lake, based on the shoreline and the mountains in the distance. But I could be wrong.

In the end, it's a 6" video that gets turned into an unnecessarily longer video.

All in the Family at 8. He talked about "chinks" and "gouks" the other night. Things have changed...I don't call people that. And I don't think they're bad people or anything. I have Asian friends. I don't think they're different than me. Only group of people I do that with is Russians and Israelis...

Difference was that Archie Bunker (Carrol Oconnor) was doing satire of the average redneck of that era; in real life he was anything but. He poked fun at the ignorant racists. Loved that man, Archie, his character not so much. Archie was and is easy to scoff at.

But yeah, for some, things haven't changed that much.

I watched the rescuers (Walt Disney) earlier. Loved it! Also watched an episode of have I got news for you from the last run, which I had missed. I found it on youtube.

it absolutely is! i'm gonna try that next weekend with minor alterations. next deer i kill is going to have an entire tenderloin done that way...
