I have a lot of Jack Herrers about to finish up. Some are short and stocky. Does anyone know how the short/stockies smoke?

i found similar high but much more body compared to the taller examples
supposed it depends on what the person likes ...i have 4 keepers from a 50 plus seed run all are taller and the most resinous....incredibly strong stuff
In my experience, with the old Sensi stock, the obvious Sativa phenos that took between 11 and 13 weeks to finish, always outclassed the few stockier models in every respect.
The shorter ones were solid as well, but in comparison to the 'should-be'-phenos, they were just outshined.

fuk jack herer - find some knockoff jock horror from nirvana- years ago found a killer pheno... best weed we ever grew.. being old and stupid didn't take a cutting.. went thru 2+ packs n never found it again... went thru a pack of jack herer... good weed, nothing close tho to that pheno of jock...
Yepper, I went through that with TOP 44. I had a lemon pheno that delivered a high I can only dream of today. I chased it down a long time, never hit it again. Jack Herrer delivers the kind of high I can live with. I just chopped Acapulco Gold, drying now. My fav for now is Tommy Chong's L A Amnesia Fem. I smoke it faster than I can produce it. Works very well for me. Virtually wipes out my PTSD symptoms. Makes me feel good .
I can only advise to stay away from Greenhouse Jack Herer. It´s not the real deal. It´s hashy but far from the famous Haze high, it is known for

Also the Mother´s Finest, which is a Jack Herer selection, was ultra potent. Too bad the seeds did not sprout!

As far as I know, Jack Herer is supposed to be one of the very few strains from Sensi that is still good. However, it's still super expensive and if I'd want to stick with Sensi, I'd rather spend my money on the Jack Flash (which is Jack Herer crossed with a Super Skunk x Haze) - some super nice phenos are to be found in there!
For an excellent representation of the pre-2000 Sensi Jack, I'd try Sa**ies Jack - it's a lemony, hazy selsection of the original Jack.

i grew out 20 beans of Jack Herer in 1997 i believe was the year. Got 11 females and all were fire. But one blew me away and i cloned her for around a year then moved on. Wish to god i kept that girl to this day. Best sativa i ever smoked.
Amen! That was/is what's so special about a good JH. To me, it seemed like the very essence of an uplifting Sativa minus any negative effects. I also fell in love with the aroma and flavor it can provide, but - as with all strains - it's hard to find the full package...
I liked the GTH's I've tried very much, but compared to JH it was either a little (or way!) too racy, or the Ghost OG rendered it a little too mind numbing. Well, I guess my experience with it is too limited to actually compare them. From what I can tell though, it's definitely a great strain!
Yeah, I recently grew a GTH#1 and it´s going in this direction. I only had one plant, so hard to speak for the line. the high was more dreamy psychedelic. I like it a lot.
recently did a purple afghan kush x jack very tasty terps lingering smell. first time ever doing something with jack in it. i was impressed
I went through some of the clone offerings in California and the shorter one with the round buds wasnt the best high wise. But it was heavy as hell, still had that one of a kind taste and smell while giving cash crop status the taller ones didn't have. Different strokes I guess. Or whether the smoke is for you or market.
I recently grew some Rosetta Stone from Bros Grimm that came closer to the Jack that I´m looking for. (It´s also a cross with old JH genetics)
The high is very clear without crash, up and motivating and mind boosting. The taste is more mango/tropical than hazy.

Yea,mr soul got the cut of jack he used from Mrs herer,its the cut sensi selected and gave to the man himself,I ran the rosetta stone,great plants, got some left I'll be popping soon,the taller plants are the jack dominant.if u can't get jack herer then these are a worthy replacement.76
