WooHoo my results have been duplicated. Buds better than dabs

A grower switched to T5's, got the bulbs and even ordered Potassium Sulfate based on my experiments and results and here is a quote from him ,,,,,,,,

A band I help had a local show tonight. Anyway.....I was doing some rips of BHO in a minivan though a bong using a titanium nail and a torch. Not sure what strain it was.......but my little pipe loaded with my stuff is way better than 3 rips of the shit this kid brought to the party.

We're onto something...... This stuff tasted really clean and was made well. Just not as potent as it needed to be. No wonder everyone always like what I bring.

We have broken the code for potency, my next experiment will be to bring back trippy, I do believe I have figured it out, 2 products ordered the experiment will begin this week, we'll know in 7 ~ 8 weeks

As I told you, I am now workin on an experiment that in my hypothesis will be how to get 60's ~ 70's trippy back. The research is done and strongly supports my theory. I ordered the ingredients on Sat and yesterday I got one of em. I dosed 5 plants with 1/8th teaspoon to a gallon of water at lunchtime and this morning for the first time in my growing experience I am growing trics on balls

I am not sharing the theory yet because what I'm doin is dangerous and I don't wanna cause others any harm. But once the experiment is done I will do a full write up !

1st pic taken yesterday at lunch, 2nd pic this morning

Had a gathering of growers at my house last night. I had taken some early samples (6 weeks) of 2 of the dosed strains, both 100% Sativas with the intent to test em and see if I should adjust the dose kinda thing. The growers that visited are aware of what I am doing and agreed to smoke the sample joints. We started with a joint of Kumaoni at this time there just 3 of us and it did this slow creep that felt like a slow incline to heaven. An hour later we were joined by a 4th grower and though the Kumaoni was still climbin we smoked a joint of Zamaldelica (also dosed) this time between the 4 of us.

I was transported decades back to those times I remember so fondly, clear, connected, introspective high with great intellectual conversation, lots of laughing, I felt 30 years younger and it was an awesome gathering!

An hour later we smoked a half a joint of Thunderfuck and it put us in overdrive, just a truly wonderful old school high. I had a smile the whole time knowing that I had crossed the Kumaoni to the Zamaldelica and the results should be an incredible strain, makes Christmas look real good this year.

Gonna be very interesting to smoke the undosed clones to see if last nights high was caused by the dosing?

Have a wonderful weekend everybody !!!!

The experiment is goin better than I could have imagined but still has a way to go as I am doing it in 2 phases phase 1 is startin to harvest, phase 2 is in veg. The first taste test was Zamaldelica and for the last week it has been my go to smoke just an absolutely old school Sat high with legs. I got the cut from a friend, so the side by side aspect of it is my cut was treated, his was not. He has also harvested his and we are gettin together this week to compare the 2. He also uses T5's and grows very similar to me so it should be interesting.

Then there was the 2nd taste test yesterday, my new strain Thunderfunk69 was smoked for the very first time. It was sooooo good I told a friend to get over here you gotta try this. uplifting (like doin 2 lines of coke) euphoric and energetic. Tis the soaring high I have spent 9 years breeding for, the high is beyond incredible. I described it at my forum like watchin the Midnight Special with Boones Farm Strawberry Hill good LOL if you're as old as I am you'll get it :)

I will be harvesting the side by sides today so that smoke test will happen in a week or so and I'll update you with what we find, there will be several of us smokin em.

So, now that it looks like I was right I can tell you what I've been up to ,,,,,,,

For years there have been a lot of growers searching for that old school trippy high, I have been one of them and I had gotten so close with my breeding of various strains but still there was something missing and then came a day when I had an aha moment.

One of the clues that led me to adding sulfur was an article I read about farmers having to supplement it due to the switch to unleaded gas. Seems a byproduct of us usin leaded gas was more sulfur in the air. Somehow in my mind the dots got connected and I realized that the one thing that was different in the 60"s and 70's (when trippy pot was the norm) was that we were usin leaded gas and there was lead in the air because of it.

My research began ,,,,,,,

My hypothesis was what if our plant had adapted to the lead in the atmosphere in such way that made our pot trippy? I found a map study of lead in the layers of ice at Greenland that indicated the highest levels of lead occurred in the 60's & 70's in that study it also showed the countries still usin leaded gas and there was also a map of sulfur concentrations.

I shifted my focus to the Kulu Valley and the Charras mountains where the best pot in the world comes from. I found that lead was one of 3 minerals that was mined in the area and that there is an active volcano in the region. There is also a hot sulfur spring that runs thru the valley and it turns the drinking water white in several of the villages. It was for this reason as well as now knowing how important sulfur is to our plant that I chose to use Lead Sulfate for this experiment as its nickname is "White Sulfur" I also chose to start usin Azomite which is a volcanic dust mined in Utah. The ppm of lead in Azomite is 6.2, the organic folks at OMRI say that up to 300 ppm is ok. With this in mind I kept my doses very low mixing 1/8th teaspoon of lead sulfate to a gallon of water and gave different plants different doses. The Zamaldelica got 4 feedings, the Thunderfunk69 only got 2 feedings. The 2 side by side Borealiz plants one got 7 feedings and one got none so the difference could be seen? That will happen soon as I said I am harvesting them this morning.

Phase 2 of this experiment includes 2 different side by side clones in veg my Thunderfunk69 and my Grandpas Hash they have thus far had 2 doses while in veg and I am thinking of doin 4 in veg and 4 in flower (doses that is) I am also dosing a Thunderfuck (CTF) as I have lots of unleaded CTF to compare it to.

At this point in the experiment all I can for sure tell you is that the 2 strains I doses are both old school 70's highs, euphoric, uplifting and yes trippy in different ways. The TF69 is a soaring high, the Zamaldelica is introspective with time shifts and all kinds of cool elements, watching a live concert light show on TV was simply stunning.

I took a lot of crap for this at my forum, folks scared of the idea of inflicting heavy metals on purpose but as I told them I NEED to know and my research backs up my notion so I'm doin this LOL What I can tell you as fellow growers is that you should be usin Azomite no matter what and if you decide to incorporate the supplementation of lead via lead sulfate tread lightly this is a situation where less is for sure more !!!!

I will continue to update you as the experiment progresses, I can tell you now that the high I had yesterday from the TF69 was the high I have been searchin for all of these years. Twas old school incredible and I am lovin the fact that I have 6 clones of it goin in veg :)

I guess I'm that old. Brings back memories. I also tried drinking bong water once. Truth be told, I drank the Boones Farm a number of times.

Holy crap. I stumbled on that article, or a similar one, after reading this thread with it's emphasis on sulfur. I think I Googled "potassium sulfide". I already add magnesium sulfide (Epsom salt).

I have seen many other posters and threads talk about "sweet spots" in the world, and one element in common is volcanic soils. I have heard of others refer to the area I live in a sweet spot. There are volcanos in the area, but I thought it had to do with the red dirt soil we have. I have also thought it might be the serpentine in the area, which is unique.

I also chose to start usin Azomite which is a volcanic dust mined in Utah. The ppm of lead in Azomite is 6.2, the organic folks at OMRI say that up to 300 ppm is ok. With this in mind I kept my doses very low mixing 1/8th teaspoon of lead sulfate to a gallon of water and gave different plants different doses. I have to say, you are one of the most out of the box thinkers I have found. It is much appreciated.

In my research, I found that a good source of sulfur is organic compost. I also remember reading a book, I think it is called "Plants of the Gods" by Richard Evans Shultz. I remember reading about how Thai Cannabis farmers would plant next to their compost heaps. The book had a picture of a Thai plant, fairly yellowed out, of a Thai Stick plant. Every gardener knows that large amounts of compost creates a dearth of nitrogen. Most people counter this by applying large amounts of manure. This, in conjunction with my observations that the best buds were usually the least green in color, often gold (yellow) led me to the practice of using much lower doses of nitrogen than most do. Perhaps it is not so much the presence of extra sulfur, but the ratio of nitrogen to sulfur.

Either way, I plan on following your lead, no pun intended, and purchase some Azomite. Is it a pun if it does not sound alike, but only spelled the same? If not, what is it?

I already grow with lots of compost outdoors, and some, but not excessive amounts of nitrogen.

Please be cautious with your experiments.

Thanks for your experiments and your willingness to share.

Thank You TB !!! I have read so much over the years that some how the dots got connected and I am simply grateful to have figured it out. I just smoked a bowl of the new Thunder99 which only got one dose of lead sulfate, (they all got Azomite) and it is all head so far but not clear and focused like the TF69 rather it is fuzzy and spacey, there was a [ressure behind the eyes but it has since moved to the back of my head, there are waves running down my spine, tis also up and energetic but not in a cocaine sorta way like the TF69 No doubt in my mind that I have unlocked the key to trippy, gonna smoke the Durban Thunder next (gotta wait a bit though, this T99 is still creepin)

Hiya riddleme, I'm interested in the way you finish off with boiling water, can ye gimme any info on method, I've heard about a fella years ago that used to do something similar, he used to pull the plant out of the medium and place the roots into the boiling water, been that long ago I can't remember the reasons why, goodluck

This was what the friend I shared the TF69 with had to say ,,,,,

Wow wow wow, Thunderfunk69 is AMAZING! Great taste, great heady, social, euphoric high. Seriously Uriah Heep sounded badass and especially with Rid's awesome speakers. It's not a stoney high at all, very focused if you want but you can let yourself drift into things like music. I could totally see smoking this and going out to a concert or just out on the town, you'd be feeling great the whole time. When I got in my car I immediately rolled down all the windows because damn the sun and wind just felt so friggen goooooooood :). It is definitely hard to sit still, this stuff pulls you around wonderfully
