Week 7 Flower, need feedback please

Hey guys,

This is my first grow. I'm doing a DWC grow and i am on week 7 and would like some feedback.

?Strain: delicious seeds Cotton Candy Kush

?light: 2x 600HPS and 1x 250 HID

Grow tent is 150cm x 150cm

I am also using RO water
?Nutes: general hydroponics 3 part and bloom booster. I also used seaweed and fulvic acids during veg.

Ph: allways between 5.7 and 6.2

?i can't tell about temperature and humidity because I did not have much money to start this grow and didn't buy a thermometer.

I think I overfed the plants at about week 5, but as soon as I noticed it i changed my reservoir and gave them nutes at 1/4 strenght for 2 days and then added back nutes at 75% strenght.

I also think it has been too hot inside the tent because the plants don't look that good ( some leaves are curling down, and i have brown spots on leaves) maybe the light was too close..?!

I know I did ( or I'm still doing) something wrong, i just cannot identify where the problem is...

If anything is missing just let me know

lower pH to 5.2 as lowest and also lower the EC with 30% and set back to 5.2 every day, don t let it over 5.9

folair Ca and Mg could help a lot

in tht case, it is important to dig yourself into chemistry and fluctuations importances. also it will lead you to microbiological connections, importance of beneficial fungis or go totally sterile method . there are so much factors to discuss, which have impact on the uptake of nutrients from the solution.

Hum ok, but do you think my plants will still finish just fine? Or did I fuck up this grow?

with the changes i suggested plus additionnal Ca Mg could help them much, with a bit delay they could be fine.

if the case is worse, and roots are affected ( did you check them ?) you have to clean them. but check first.

I think the roots are fine, i have a towel over my reservoir to avoid light leaks.

They are also a bit brown but I think it's because of the nutrients..

Also you suggested calmag as foliar spray, i thought I shouldn't spray anything's on the buds in late flower.

Won't the calmag stay in the buds?

Plants should be fine to ripen nicely. Get a cheap ec meter to measure the strength of your nutrient solutions. It's already been diagnosed correctly: Overfed Macro nutrients, ph lockout, Micro nutrient issues. Back off the strength of your nutrient solution, add more calcium and magnesium. You may want to add 1/4 - 1/2 tsp. Epsom Salts per gallon. If you do a foliar spray, make sure you have good air flow in the tent after applying the spray. You don't want to accidently create an environment conducive to mold growth with your buds so far along.

Also, I think the reason behind suggesting a lower starting ph is this: Your solution's ph is drifting up, fluctuating each day and ending up too high. By starting lower, it drifts to the acceptable range.

Hope this is helpful. Good Luck and Never Give Up!! In a few weeks you will be proudly smoking your own nugs.

I'm sorry bro but I got no more money to spend, corona fucked me up and I'm home without a job... U can't buy an ec meter..

But I will change the reservoir and will give my plants nutes at 30% strenght..

Sorry My Man, things are tough all over. May good fortune shine on your life starting Now.

A cheap ec meter ($20) can save you money throughout your grow. By testing strength, you reduce waste and use less nutrients by not having to flush or dump.

Don't give up, things will get better.

They're going to be fine. Go easy from here on through, and You will be happy with your Harvest.

Glad you were using their charts and not the bottle rates. Still, that cheap ec meter will fine tune your nutrient strength to avoid the midflower buildup.

Yes next time I will definitely get a thermometer and a ec meter..

Do you think I will be fine giving them nutes at 30%? Or is that too little? Or should I flush? And then feed full strenght again?
